Corrected Generic Form sent on Dec 01, now in transit...

I have also sent an updated Generic Application Form IMM008, since in my initial application I used a form which I downloaded from CIC website on Nov 19, and it was an old 06/2014 one.

Question to EnthuChap: I have sent an updated Generic Application Form via courier, should I wait for 7 days after its arrival to send en email explaining the issue?

My application reached cic on 13nov. Few doubts. Mode of payment is dd and hence i haven't filled the credit card section or signed it. However i have signed,towards the end of the form. Is this ok? Nextt doubt is i have placed the doc checklist on top of application, followed by generic form with the bar codes on top of generic form. Is this fine or should i have placed the bar coded pages even before the document checklist. Pls reply

Hello...Applied on June 2, 2014. I noticed I had inadvertently inserted the first letter of the WES report and not the report...Call it excitement! I noticed way too late...way after the completeness checks for that month was done.

However, I got a mail from them stating it was returned due to the application being incomplete. Getting back the package is another story..Anyhow after wondering how come, eating ice cream, being all depressed I have resent an application that arrived on November 13, 2014 NOC 0113 and trust me paranoid doesnt even begin to describe what Im going through.lol Although I doubled, tripled and nuff nuff looked over the package I cant helping feeling I missed something...lol especially with seeing what we would have to go through with EE.

Anyhow guys I am hoping that all will be good with us and God shall grant the desires of our hearts. :-* Just my lil much...As im typing I here wondering did I put a form in the package :..paranoid i tell ya! ???

It did happen to me and after a week i was confused which form i sent ( did i sent a form which i had printed to send it to them ) or the previous one.. too confident to take photo copies of the entire document and all exicted to send it ASAP. coming back from office getting the packet picked up by scheduled UPS guy and in the same day i got PCC.

after a week i went through the all versions of forms i sent and luckily the previous version of one form was with me that meant i sent the right one.
later after that i made a folder in my laptop called ( sent docs ) which supposedly should have the docs CIC received. it would have been a good idea if i had taken photocopies of all the docs i sent before putting them inside the envelop ( but my conscience of not priting too much , saving environment and saving trees strikes me everytime i hit print button or take photo copies )

so here is my story. i am 98% confident all my forms are correctly placed and signed and dated with all required docs. but still if sometthing goes wrong i blame it to the mirror of me who is environmet friendtly and over confident ..



BTW same NOC.. what is ur Visa office/

Good you sent the updated form.
I also had the same situation, but I didn't send the corrected one.
Yes, please send an e-mail once you get confirmation from the courier company.

Yes, thats what I should have done photocopied everything..but no...chu! lol...

Anyways, Im with you im 98% certain I did things right this time....

I really am hoping because this EE program....looking rough

I was really thinking to just send all the files im not seeing in my drive as sent...(seems we're thinking alike)...I'm like what are the odds? they'd throw them out if they don't want them right? better be there than have the package returned. I'll let u know what i decide....lol

I cant wait for this to be over and I sleep peacefully in Canada...with this process all behind..lol

Good job mate

Yes please wait for at least 7 days after it is received by CIO and then send the enquiry email.

Please don't forget to include your personal details in it, so that they can identify you as the applicant.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the latest CC charged was for 16 Sep. The murmurs for Oct applicants being assessed for completeness check are still on and now November!

I think it's still a distant dream.

I believe they are doing completeness check for October.

I think check for November applicants will start next year.
