Any 2173 cc charged?

I believe we haven't seen anything charged for 2173 after 12 Aug. Does it make sense to keep hope alive for Aug applicants at least? ( Im Aug 19 applicant)

Hi Kareem,

I followed your instruction and mailed to question @ cic.ca.gc but havent got any reply for almost one week. How did you manage to let them reply in one day?

One more question, you have open work permit, does this mean you are applying under arranged employment?

You should have applied for new passport before filing your application with CIC, if you do that now you have inform CIC about your new passport and that's quite a hassle and i would advise you to avoid that.

if you are only applying for a new passport so that your spouse name shows on that ... you can always support your spouse name by marriage certificate which is not a big deal and i am sure you must have attached your marriage certificate as well.

and PCC is for an individual and there is nothing like spouse name has to be there on passport. you can visit local passport centre or DCP office to get PCC not a big deal.

Hey..
I have not applied under arranged employment. ( I was not sure if i could have applied under arranged employment, because my current job doesn't strictly fall under 2173)

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and just came to know about this yesterday only.

My Application was filed under category 2173 and my cc has not yet been charged. I have not received any communication regarding the application status. But WES do keep sending me emails regarding preparation for Canada etc.
As per the response from Ksa, the CC's for August Applicants should be charged by 11/20. I dint even receive any notification regarding the rejection or anything.
So should I just loose hope and try for Express Entry? If so, how can I make sure that for whatever reason the application was not picked will not happen again in the Express Entry.

Thanks in Advance!

~ Harpreet

CAP REACHED IN 2173 [ SOFTWARE ENGG ]
My Application reached mid Sept

No email from CIC
What should I think ? Am I IN or I should get ready for Express Entry ???

Thanks For the reply. Actually passport office refused to provide pcc without getting passport reissued with spouse name.. and i there was no time left for getting passport re-newed before sending application to cic :(
