Hi , I have applied on 23 sept for NOC 2171. Will it be under cap? We have used DD as mode of payment. If we fall under cap when can we expect a response from CIC? Pls help

I am 24th Sept applicant.Praying that we all will be in cap.For DD candidate I believe news will be in Jan as currently 28th July applicants are getting PER.

keep faith guys.. Aug would be there in cap .. as I read through some sr. posts. However Sept candidate may have thin chances.... I am also of Sept candidate.

You have to wait a little bit.Last applicant charged on 12/08 for 2173 as per forum and SS.if you see any charging in coming week,then you are still in game otherwise you have to wait for EE.With regards to no communication from CIC,they do not contact any one before PER.So if you are not in cap ,your application will be back my snail mail..if you want to contact CIC for status of your app,then drop an email to CIC(cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca),they reply in 45 days.

Looks like nobody had a look today to CIC website.. 2171 is capped. Any chances for September applicants to make it in the cap? I am Sept 8th applicant.. My DD is yet to be encahsed. Any sept applicant got their CC/DD charged??

The last time CIC updated cap for 2171 was 553 which was updated after the completeness check of August. So i wonder who will be the the remaining 447 applicants will be, if its again from may to august or september-October Applicants

As far as I know these capped numbers are only for completeness checked applications, not the charged ones.. SO I guess September application completeness check is was about to get complete some 2 days back and Oct 1st week also. Hope they are all in the cap.

This is shocking guys...From 553 to 1000 for 2171 cap.!! in few weeks
I am 25th Sep applicant and keeping finger crossed...Not sure if this is with in cap or not..

As 2171 is capped and no update on Cc or most unfortunate dd charged... It seem July and august application are game changer.. Must be thousands of files...

Dont they pretty much stop charging once the CAP is reached. For example for 2173 and 1112 the charging stopped after 1 or 2 days of reaching the cap.(as per the spreadsheet) The cap for 2173 was reported on 11th NOv and the date last charged was 12th Nov for 2173 ...
Just wanted to clear my understanding
