Guys as I have posted before apps till 17th sept r considered for 2171, me being 8th sept applicant did receive mail back from CIC that they have received my apps andd notification will be issue in due course, which I think proves 2 things , one em in cap and the other all the docs r in place, so its mid sep n charging will presume beyond 2nd sep.

If your app reached 8 sep and that's within cap and you got email, based on what are you telling apps till 17 Sep are within cap? Did CIC tell you that as well? Why only till 17 Sep?

I got my additional copy of IELTS last week, you need to contact IDP, and find out the fee in your country "they accept only DD in INDIA" (call the call center in your country) in INDIA I paid Rs 250/- it took 10 days to receive additional copy of TRF. Write a covering letter mention the "reason for Additional copy" for CANADA immigration they do send a additional copy to your address. they might ask you for a proof of immigration application, I have attached WES photo copy and a photo copy of my application.

-If you say u have lost they will ask you to file an FIR at your nearest police station and include that copy and rest all is same as i mentioned above.

-If you download the latest check list in that it is mentioned that if you have already submitted the original TRF and your application is not processed/ still have not received your application back you can attach a photo copy of your IELTS and provide a proof of earlier submission " (I would say you can send a photo copy of the courier receipt of your earlier application" as a proof and also photo copy of your earlier application).

Relax Dude, y will CIC tell me abt 17th Sep, this is based on previous posts where by 2 applicants had posted that there apps were returned on nov 26 due to cap full, these guys were 17th Sept.

. That was 02 Sep applicant I thought? Glad you got response that you are in the cap bro. When did you send email to CIC and when you got response? Asking as I have sent email to CIC on 25 Nov n still waiting for response.

Does anyone know if FSW is being removed for express entry?
From what I saw, there seems to be employer nominated, state nominated and a point based competetion style independant selection. Does anyone know if the point based system will sill exist or basically only thise with job offer can only migrate in EE?

Hi seniors,

I am a 23rd July applicant, NOC 2173. I didn't get any reply from CIC. So I have started preparing for EE. But EE is confusing . If I am not wrong point system consists of 1200 points , out of which 600 points is based on valid job offer or Province nomination..pls correct if m wrong..

Is it true that we should find a job first or get province nomination and then apply to EE, else standing a chance will be very difficult?

Also can anyone tell something about province nomination as well..

You are right about all the above. For province nomination, you need to keep following the website of each individual province and decide where to target your efforts. Each province has its own set of nomination rules and required documents, which are on the province's website.

My file reached on 23rd July,I didn't get any reply.. Is there any chance that my file will not get out due to capping.

CIC will mail you stating that due to cap full they are returning you application and they will mention the date of return as well.

From that date, it will take 45-60-90 days sometimes as it comes in a normal post.
