i am sept 8th applicant and thiz gud news as cic has started working on 2171 sept applicants. i received mail from cic stating tht they have accepted my application n notification mails will be sent in due couse but thiz waz on 3rd dec n its more than a month now but the only relief i tht v have...

y would they not return apps instead of giving standard answers? i dont think v r special in geting standard answers and others are getting there apps back? wht do u think?

This is strange bcoz i am sept 8th applicant and mailed CIC on Dec 1st and got reply on 3rd of DEc which stated: "Please be advised we have recieved ur application and notification mails will mailed at later stage". since it was capped on like 3rd week of november i should have got one such mail...

:) Relax Dude, y will CIC tell me abt 17th Sep, this is based on previous posts where by 2 applicants had posted that there apps were returned on nov 26 due to cap full, these guys were 17th Sept.

hey i mailed on 1st DEC and got reply on 3rd Dec, i think apps till mid of sept will be in cap and if it was not in cap then i wud get exact same mail as the 17th Sept guy which he recieved much earlier that is 26th Nov... Still, hope for best

Therez no confidential details, i haven't got any uci number aswell, thiz reply to my mail seeking status update, one gud thing is its in cap but i think sept17th guys have got mail from CIC abt cap full. hence any day before 17th is valid for 2171.

On the contrary u will get charged y wud they want to keep till 1st instead uu shud have got it by now (according to u), I have seen apps getin mails from cic abt delay in charging. Gud luck
