How can you say that game is over, i am from 2171 noc code i app received on 9th oct. at that time cap was just 354 it came to 1000 on 28 Nov. so no one is out of game unless you heared anything from CIC..

The cap for 2171 is already full, you might have to get ready for EE...Many of August & September applicants files have been returned. You cannot update ur new cc details to CIC.

How do you calculate the date on which caps reached 100% v/s date on which application sent. ???????
I think if your application reached before capping . then you are in .. but if your application reached after 100% cap then you are out definitely

Cap is calculated based on completeness check. We have confirmed cases that Sep 17 NOC 2171 has been returned back due to cap reached.
I am personally Sep 2 NOC 2171 applicant and still dont know the state of my application.
One positive sign that we have is an applicant from Sep 8 for NOC 2171 received a message from CIO that his application is received and will be informed in due course.

But can anyone tell me if Sep apps are still in the cap, why the hell CIC stop charging the 2171 apps?? it's almost 3 weeks since cap has been reached, But nothing much seems to happen for 2171..seniors plz comment...

You mean to say that sept files are opened after capping filled 100% on 27th Nov and then they returned the file back which was received on Sept.>>> confused !!!

I think in the email from CIO was mentioned that his application has been sent back on 26-27 Nov... Not sure please search the exact same post for accurate information.

Well... as I said previously I am also not sure whether my own application got through the Cap (Sep 2 NOC 2171 DD mode) but the lack of charging after the cap reached might be because the majority of the applicants after 28 Aug are 95% with DD mode and DD mode of charge is way slower than CC.
Again this is only my "optimistic" assumption.
On the other hand my "pessimistic" assumption will be all applicants after Aug 28-29 for NOC 2171 are out.

Yes the tweet was posted on 14 Nov but it doesn't reflect completeness check until that date.
CIC is way slower determining completeness check of files for example In November they check documents received from Aug-Sep probably.

If Sep 2 is last CC charge for 2171, then DD of Sep 2 are in game. It is not like CC given preference than DD, its just CC is online and DD takes some time.

Yes you are correct but the global SS is public and anyone can create a false entry the one from Sep 2 with CC mode of payment is named as Tiozao and none knows him, he also dont have forum account in order to provide a real feedback. Hence I believe that the global SS is a nice effort by some Senior Members on this forum and a good thing BUT i also believe that there are many who are trying to play MIND GAMES with the other people waiting patiently for their status.

To sum up global SS is only 50% indication of something the other 50% should be taken with a pinch of salt!
