Hi Sam - Our Medical happened in May, update on CIC website in June that medical has been received but still waiting for PPR. As I understand it can take 2to3 months for PPR request after the medical is received by CIC.

Timeline :-
1. Received application for permanent residence on November 18, 2014.
2. Started processing application on April 29, 2015.
3. Medical done in May
4. Medical & PCC received by CIC in June
Waiting for PPR

Could anyone tell once In process changes to Decision Made how long does it take to get PPR and visa? Also does DM mean its sure shot done :

Its been exactly 10 months (300 days) since I launched the application (30-Oct-2014) and almost 28 weeks since PER (13-Feb-2015). SLU appeared on 19-Aug-2015 with the date of 16-Jan-2015.

Don't know how long it will take further and what will be the outcome.

By the grace of ALLAH today we got our Passports back with visa stamped. My updated timelines are on left for your assistance, it took 10 months from application submission till visa stamping and I applied from PAKISTAN. It is the best forum for guidance, thank you all for your guidance and suggestions. I wish you all best of luck and speedy process ahead.

I have planned to land in Calgary by first week of October. Any suggestions for reasonable Airlines from Karachi????

Any ppr's from NDVO for 0112 lately?? can see a couple of ppr's being reported from warsaw. Got my TLU on 21st July, any ideas when should I expect PPR.

Your best bet is to take PIA from Karachi to Toronto Pearson and then any local Air line (Air Canada for eg) from Toronto to Calgary.

Dear all,

Rather than base your decision on where to land on someone else's experience; please conduct simple research exercises to scan the HR job market in Canada.

For instance, visit indeed.ca and type Human resources under the job title column and search for related jobs under every province. A simple scan like this will show there are fewer HR jobs in NS, PEI, Yukon etc and more HR jobs in ON, BC, AB, etc.

This is to share that i got PPR on 09-09-2015 as i have done Medicals on 02-Sep-2015.

I submitted my Passport to Jerry's Lahore. Anybody know the time to get it returned after Stamping.

I hope test for hypertension is not conducted during medicals and not one of the diseases/illnesses/symptoms that cause inadmissibility on medical grounds.

This waiting patiently period is surely turning me into a patient and now I just want this process to finish with whatever decision LVO wants to take.
