According to the best of my knowledge... this is the First time HR profession has been included in FSW...
So there won't be too many people to share experiences here on this forum about the job scenario for HRs in Canada...
But some senior members have suggested the basics about shifting and starting again as a professional...
The suggestion was to begin with start up jobs, to make sure that you don't financially exhaust yourself...
Whatever job you think is fun and pays okay money to survive in the beginning of time is good.
Take that job, and start building your social network, soon you will be having a few contacts, and it might take up to 6 months.
Don't hasten things... let things unfold, allow yourself to become a part of the city you land and live in, understand the culture and the people...
You are not changing a Job here, you are shifting a country... and that might be pleasant or unpleasant both for the people who land, especially in the first year, be prepared for that...
Once you are okay with the rest of the things, start looking for a job in your area of expertise...
The above knowledge is the basic funda of settling at Canada...
If you can arrange employment for yourself before you land, then it is good for u...
Canada is a warm nation with a very cold climate, choose things wisely... and always remember PANICKING IS NOT and CAN NOT BE THE SOLUTION.
