Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum but have been reading your posts quite often. Its very encouraging.

I am currently working as Sr. Manager - HR and have about 10 years of relevant work experience. Planning to apply for PR under NOC 0112 - HR Manager.

My points are accumulating to more than 67 and my IELTS scores are L-7.5, R-6, W-7, S-7.

Can someone help me to know the application process and the start point please?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

have u got your ECA

Hi Everyone,

I applied in FSW class under 2 different categories (H.R.Mgr; & S/W Engr.) on Aug 10 via Canada Post's 2 Regular Mails. I included all documents except Police Clearances as I believe these can be submitted later as well during the process. By now I assume they must have received my mails for sure as I cant track Sad

However, I hear that AORs/PER are currently taking upto 3 months to be received by applicants! I'm currently on a Post Grad Work Permit that is valid only till Oct 28 this year. I'm working currently but now scared that I may not have enough time to get an AOR/PER before my permit expires - for me to apply for BOWP.

My query is, can I apply for a BOWP - say by October 1st - irrespective of getting an AOR/PER or not (may be along with a letter of explanation again)?
If not, what are the alternatives I have if I want to extend my stay as a worker here? Any ideas or experiences are more than welcome.

Hi, no special treatment, It just means there are less chances for those who wish to apply to that NOC and havent done so. The window of opportunity is reducing... :)

Dear All,

Kindly advise. My organisation recently did a salary review for all staff and I had to sign the letters for all staff including mine as H.R Manager, would it be appropriate for me to include such a letter with my application?

Would it raise a red flag of some sorts if I do? My reference letter and letter of employment were signed by my direct reporting line, the Managing director.

Hi, no need. Some people have gotten this idea of including all sorts of documents with their application thinking it will some how influence CIO to favorably review their application but it's of little effect really. The recognised and stated supporting documents are pay slips or employment letter. Just submit what we were asked to submit and you'll be fine. That's what I did and I have my PER. Cheers :)
