do you have a wechet which I can add you to friend?

and also I checked online, it is only showed application received, how about you?

My status is still as application received as well and, afaik, all the others who were asked to pay RPRF before MR are in the same situation.

My WeChat ID is leoheck. Add me there.

Hello, Thanks for your advice. In fact, my application was received at late June but up to now, no 2nd line update at all. I got no news since receiving the PER in Oct and AOR in Nov. Afterwards, everything is stopped.....

My agent has helped me send an inquiry to HKVO and hopefully can find out what's going on.

Wow, that long?! They are obliged to reply as your application has exceeded the normal processing times. Anyway, you could try to get GCMS notes to understand why is it taking so long.

Hi ! I wonder if the verification process was done before they asked for RPRF, PCC, and other docs...or are they still in the verification of the documents submitted?

Well, now after 17 days of their email and 10 days since my docs got there, seeing not even an SLU, I'm starting to think the same... hope I'm wrong, but this is not looking good.

I don't think so. I think it's some kind of SOP that they need to request several and updated documents and they will start checking and verifying after all documents arrived. Check their email, it contains the following hints:
- If you have an offer of employment in Canada, submit an updated copy of this offer.
- if applicable
- if you have not already submitted them

Too many "IF" that shows they have not checked the details of our documents yet until you provide the most updated one ;D 8)

The only way I know to ask for clarification is to raise a CSE. Unless they have given you an alternate contact method in the request letter. CSE is also the only way I know to request an extension. Most people who request an extension receive a reply fairly quickly.
I have raised CSE 2 weeks ago but no response from HKVO ???
I guess I will just send out all the docs I have and some explanation why some documents are not available yet, e.g. police certificate from other countries... hopefully they would accept and give time extension if necessary ;D ;D

Can you share your timeline? Also, how long ago have you sent them your PCCs?
Is it PCC for only one country? Are you a HK citizen? Usually these are 2 good reasons for delay. They're also processing Beijing applications now, so some more time might be needed.

Good luck!

Finally I got my MR on 1/6/2015 and I finished it yesterday, next step waiting for RPRF/PPR ;D
(I am HK citizen and only submit HK PCC, such a long process as I am AUG 2014 applicant)

Before think positive, future canadian and disdis got passport request on the same date.
I'm not sure but may be HKVO will send out passport request to us on the same date.
Please keep each other update.

I'm very nervous for my husband got a job in Canada and will begin working on 1 Sep.
We got air ticket of 1 Jul already. Don't know if still have chance to get the PR visa before we fly to Canada.
Really don't want to wait in Canada.

I also don't have my FBI PCC yet, it will take 3-4 months til I can have it so I just have to send the other required documents and ask for an extension of time for its submission. According to the seniors, it works as long as we submit a proof that we requested and it's in process. How long will u wait for ur PCC from another country?

Miraculously i received my PCC from the Netherlands and Indonesia yesterday ;D ;D ;D
so i hope to send all my documents within this 1-2 days. my deadline will be 13 Jun'15. i still have to provide notarized birth certificate for 2 of my kids. i heard it costs HK$1,000 each :'(
you're right, better send the other available documents than just wait and get over the deadline, too risky :'(
best of luck for us, mate ;D 8)

I have sent the requested documents today
I don't know how to make sure that VO received them, is tracking page enough ? should I inform the VO by email ?

Hi walkwithlord, r u also posting in bk forum? I saw that post ;)
So glad that your husband already got an offer, did u send a email state your urgent situation? I did send them a email for some change and they reply me within a week and follow up my case. Maybe you should try this to speed up the process. Don't worry.
My husband work in the I.T industry, I hope he can also get a job in a short time after landing too.

How are people getting offers when they're not even PRs yet? Amazing!

Acuraka,
Thx for you wish.
Yes, I posted in bk also.
Yep...I sent email to the HKVO already but don't get any response from them up to now.
So when will you want to land Canada after getting the PR visa? Toronto?
Hope your husband get a job soon after landing!
