They certainly have gone quiet again. Its been 3 months now since my line 4 was updated. Until last week I was seriously thinking that CIC would have sent the PPR and that it either went to my attorney's spam or got lost somewhere. But after my conversation with CIC rep last week, he was able to confirm that VO hasn't sent any communication and that he has no idea when it would be. I had submitted the CSE last week and still haven't heard back on that as well. God knows what is going on there.

What does the 4th line update say?]

That the decision has been made and VO will soon contact you with the decision.

Wow. That is a long wait. I wonder what the holdup is? I mean if you already have a decision made why is it taking so long to send you something about it? I hope you hear something soon. Best wishes!

Tell me about it. But since I have surpassed the newly updated processing times, I was able to get a verbal confirmation from the rep that my application was approved. So it is just a matter of time. I am hoping CSE would expedite the process (if I can call it so). But thanks for your wishes.

I know nobody can really say what the real holdup is but my attorney had an interesting perspective on this. As per him, considering this is an election year in Canada, he thinks that it could be one of the reasons where the CIC is trying to process as many applications as possible to show success of the new Express Entry program. He says government has been trying to include the FSW numbers as part of Express entry program. More approved applications shows successful program. And sending out the decision is just outside the scope of that. That is why we have seen the processing time to have dropped from 24 months a year ago to 11 months now. To me it seems a bit stretched but an interesting thought for sure.

I was checking the Global Sheet this morning, and was happy to find out that CPC-O had sent a PPR to an applicant on Aug 20.

The results would be sent to the health branch of CIC, and they would inform us to do further ME if there was a problem ( like me :( ). Since so many days have passed after you have done with your ME, I guess you are fine with the ME results. That's my personal idea 8)

thans for your reply. How long did you get the further ME request after your results had been uploaded? Actually I have done some additional tests before uploading results. My results were uploaded on Aug.5th

Harry,

Thanks for your kind words.
Although the doctor told me everything is normal after all tests, I am still a little worried and even now all of us are waiting for MER, which makes me more nervous :(

@fsqsunshine : Even my program assistant is the same as yours and my medical was uploaded on 4th August, very close to yours..lol

I did my first ME on May 19, and received the Further MR on May 25th. I don't know when the first results were submitted.
