Thats not the general practice..but at least if they have asked for PCC your case is going in the right direction.
try and send it ASAP so your case can be processed further ..and wish you a speedy MR ..!!

Thanks Harry, i am sending it tomorrow itself :)

Hey Friends,

Glad to see more and more people are moving forward. And hope the others will get your good news very soon :)
My husband just did his medical today. Now we are waiting for the TLU. Have no idea when it will be updated.
The question is, until now I have not got the RPRF and PCC request yet. Is that normal? (in the application, my FBI PCC is a copy version, not the original one. I think I should update that)
I got my MR on June 30th, and the second line updated on July 3rd.
Should I write email to ask them or I just wait first?
Thanks,

PCC can be sent at any time during application so it doesn't have any specific stage as Medical does. May be he checked your application and saw that PCC is pending. He may not have authority to send Medical request though.

Vinaj, I have the PCC ready with me. So I can send it even thought I have not got a request for it. Which address should I send. Is it the one below:

Case Processing Centre - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor, Section B
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1
Canada

I have a slightly different take on it..
I have hardly seen MR from anyone else in DEC other than DA20220.
I think they have given him all the remaining files of FSW 2014 and assigned rest of the officers some different work..
That's why majority, i guess 80-85% of people who have got the MR have got it from DA20220.
it might also explain why the process has gone so slow.
I like that explanation. May not be true but still makes sense from here.

Yeah send them an email for RPRF (you have to mostly email the receipt). PCC you can send anyways. Just mention your Application# and UCI# on the package and send it to

Thanks Vinaj,
But they did not send me any email about the RPRF yet. What should I ask?
I even don't know the full name of RPRF :-[

Tell them that you haven't received RPRF (“Right of Permanent Residence Fee”) request and you would like to pay the fees. Ask them if you should proceed or wait for instructions.

FYI, following were the instructions provided to me to pay RPRF

· Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant

· You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one

· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

· Click “Submit”

· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca .

I don't think you have to wait to send PCC atleast. RPRF I think is only to be sent when requested by them.

Make sure you write 'PCC', application number and UCI number on the package.

Looking at the details of 10 of my friends whose files were received in december, I found out the following:

Case Officers
6 files were assigned to DA20220
2 files to RK6165
1 file to SP10734
1 file to GB01592

Status
2 files have already got their visas
1 file has received RFV
3 files have their Medical Results Received
4 files have received their medical requests
