I think someone posted earlier, cic did not accepted return labels other than canada post.

They clearly mentioned in PPR emails as well. even if you sent, they will still return with regular mail, which will take longer time and no tracking.

I think everyone who got their RFV/PPR within the last week or so is getting the option of using a 'private' service like Fedex/UPS. So maybe the CPC-O guidelines have changed recently.

ya i see that too since past one week everyone who has got RFV has had a option for private service ..

I am not aware what that email used to say earlier, but it is true that my RFV email too asks me to use a private service for US address. I am looking into FedEx for that. Perhaps will be posting my packet today.

You can also call their helpline if you still can't make it work. Its quick & the agent was very helpful.

I checked Fedex and it was $ 17 for 3 business days but then I didn't feel too confident as they usually use Canada post. It cost me 29 CAD (23 USD) for return label to NYC and 3 days delivery.

Even I received my PPR while I was on vacation, so for all those who have been waiting, a word of advice - go on vacation and your PPR will come!

My application was picked up for processing on May 13th. I sent the PCCs to CIC on 26th June. Any thoughts on how long on average usually it takes for CIC to send out medical request or by when it will be about time to start following up with CIC for Medical Requests.

Hello everyone, so glad to inform you that I eventually received RFV email last Friday (3rd July) regarding the decision made since May 20th.
So so glad!
My heart reaches out to all those who applied in 2014 and have yet to see their applications finalized. Here is a short nugget for you, "though the road may be either rough or smooth, a light shone at the end of perseverance make the heart merry" Stay blessed for your light will definitely shine! :-* :-*
