Glad you had no flooding issues. ;)

Thanks!!! I Googled the address of the Houston doc and it seems to be towards the northwest so hopefully no flooding issues there. I'll let you know what I find out after I call them.

I live in Houston as well not to far from clinic and yes there no flooding issues there but I happened to go to dallas so i completed my medicals in dallas and its $45 cheaper than houston per person ;)

Both doctors are good and have e-medical facility.

Hope this helps

There are so many people from houston here ..

Just have a question if anybody knows. In MR email they sent me the following link to find doctor. But the link is not working.

The medical examination must be performed by a doctor from the CIC list of Panel Physicians.

You cannot choose your family doctor if his or her name is not on this list. See the list of Panel Physicians to

find a doctor in your area at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

Does anybody how to find doctor in GTA Area since this URL isn't working

Thanks in advance

Thanks , might just take on the appeal .. having to get all the documents , like PCC etc again seems a pain in the behind . Will talk to a lawyer . see what they say .

The only item on the rejection letter is my work experience . I also didn't get point for adaptability even though i submitted my spouse's English test scores. There is a lot of things wrong with this rejection. Its weird I work in the one of the big oil companies in Houston and I am actually in the office right now. I am thinking of sending a CSE anyways with a new employment verification letter from HR

Keeping hope alive , Will fill you guys in on how it goes .

Mr. Bank,

According to the article below there have been errors occurring. Now it seems that was a different VO than the Ottawa-CPC, but still...error can occur and it may be worth it to try to appeal. Ultimately it is your decision, but if I were in your situation and I know I have the experience and that is the “reason for rejection” of your application, I would definitely appeal. As another mentioned, if you passed PER that means they must have calculated your points already. Now I know that in the continuing review they probably do a more thorough review of your file but if you truly have the experience necessary to meet the qualification points, I'd appeal.

Now, I don't want to be negative or anything because as you can see in the statistics at the bottom of the linked page below, some draws have been as low as 453 (March 27 and April 17 draws), but the latest draw was of candidates with 755 or more points. There was also a longer gap of time between the previous draw and the most recent one. Hopefully this isn't a trend towards higher and higher requirements. That said, you might not want to abandon your application under the old system just yet.

Best wishes for whatever you decide to do...and best of luck!!! ;)
