Ecas status has been updated to Decision Made. Am just a little bit worried seeing that AW usually requests docuuments before status is updated but in this case my status was updated before PPR ::)
same here on 29 may (early friday), when urs got updated??, i know a friend with same timeline got his ppr on friday late ottawa time however got no status update, think DM is a good sign but we get long wait for the ppr.

one question, can we send passports depending on DM without receiving the mail, i know it seems crazy but to wait again for a week or so is hard. :-X

Same here! Status updated to DM.

I hope it's positive.

Congratulations and best of luck to subzero and lyn4pow
is it on 29 or 30 may?
i guess updating ecas and sending ppr isn't the reposibility of the visa officer who sent the medical thats why same applicants with same VO are having different sequence.

That is what I am hoping. Maybe a system slowdown or something. Did you try calling them. Do they tell you what DM is exactly? Or they will keep saying it is still in process!

Mine got updated early Friday.

Best of luch to you too subzero, civilengr and aahmed!

Thanks for your support Laviyash!

waiting is horrible, if this guy -whoever-he is felt our worries he would work weekends for free to send us ppr :'(

they told me as long as im still within the 12 months of processing time so they can't release me any information, it depends on who will answer you u can call somebody who tell you everything and another says nothing, however the guy told me its automated mail generated after DM!!, though some people get ppr and then get their status updated, couldn't figure it out, but one of my friends on a FB group told me its a queing process in the e-mail system so its totally luck of when a person receives

lets keep each other posted here folks

Congrats Lyn4pow! It's positive! You might receive it today. :) just think that the person updating ecas is really on the good mood.

Congrats civilengr, aahmed and sub zero on your DM. It's positive usually so no worries.:) hopefully you'll get it in 24 hrs.

Good Morning All,

I landed at peace bridge yesterday. It was a very smooth experience.

It is true that Canadian officers are more friendly than US officers. However, U.S. Officers were professional and did their job quite well.

I landed as FSW with arranged employment. But the officer still asked me for proof of funds. I could've maybe explained I am exempt but I took my job offer/ pay stubs/ bank statements etc. she asked to see either one of these three documents. She merely 'sighted' them. So, if you have been working in Canada, take pof docs with you.

The whole landing procedure took about 15 minutes. Mine was not anything different to what people have already said.

Standard questions .. Crime/ felony/ dependants not declared...

She then filled up the CPR's and returned them to us. She explained the rights of PR's and how to travel anywhere else except USA until PR card comes and we were done and on our way back for dinner at St. Catherine's.

If at all possible, I'd recommend peace bridge for landing purely based on my positive experience yesterday. Oh, and $ 3.75 at the exit toll gate on canada side to come back in ... Notes accepted but change is handy.

That's all I got to say.

Thanks all ... diplo/ grace/ bat001/ Goku and the many others that contribute to this forum. Perhaps we must open up an 'online' immigration consultancy. We could be making a lot of money.

I have always been silent on the forum and will be, but if you have a question, pm me and I will surely respond.

All the best in your journey towards permanent residency in canada.
