I don't think they are working now, I think it's something like a scheduled email sending.
Before I got my PER by 3 days, I had a call with CIC, the agent informed me that there's an email is in the queue and will be arrived in minutes :o but it took 3 days to land on my inbox.
I hope our PPRs are in the queue now :'( 4th line before PPR is a nightmare

you got 4th line update?

So the call center agents can even see if there is a mail in the queue ......but what could force them to queue emails for 3 days....and can they queue while each mail has the date of the day it arrives on don't know this possible technically I'm not an it specialist so I'm lost here ......thought scheduling is day by day only.....but who knows

Any October applicant who's officer is AW5180 and still waiting for PPR? :'(

Don't worry Hari, I have the same officer. This person was so quick in the beginning. From the day processing began to the day all screenings were completed took a matter of only 3 weeks. It makes me strongly suspect that he/she may be on vacation 8)

Yes sir, and let me tell you something, it's a nightmare.
The question that keep screaming in the back my head :-X , why ? why before the PPR ? is it because of Negative Decision or what?

Ahmed Bacha, I'm not sure about the schedule thing, but that what happened with me in the PER, bear in mind that CIO emails sending rate is much more - even not comparable- to Ottawa's.
The schedule is important because sending a lot of emails at once from a server can lead to mark CPC-O/CIO server as Blacklisted.
In IT world, a normal workaround is to send them in small parts ( 5 emails in an hours for ex.).

Inshallah good news. Call Nova Scotia tomorrow and they will give you the details. I think it depends on the officer style. Some update decision made first and some send passport request first

Of course I'll call them insha'ALLAH, though I tried last week with the same disappointing answer "It's still in the normal processing times, call us if it takes more than 18 months" :-X :o

I tried this but didn't work, as I noticed, Women are friendlier than men, All who answered me on Friday were men, and only one who tried to help but told me that he can't know the decision, I think the data permissions & authorization differs between agents.
I hope that tomorrow is better ;D for all of us
