I actually did and they responded in an email on March 31st mentioning " your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline and we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization, we don't require any information from you at this point and will contact you if further info is needed. please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid for 6 months".

This is the response I got from them. I also applied for CAIPS privacy and information acts notes for my file but its been only one week.

The response sound that all should be good, but I would try to call them and maybe you will get more detailed information. Good luck

Diplomatru ;D Good to "see you" where are you writing from? Florida or CA? How is/was vacation time?

Dear CanadaImmQ2013,

Try calling CIC, maybe one agent might be lucky for you that he/she gives clear information on what's happening. Wishing you all the best and hoping things will be good with you.

It is a quick request to everyone if anyone calls CIC and they get hold of call center agent who details about the status of the file, please mention it here so we can call the same day too.

Thank you

Hello Gracey,
I am in Palm Beach Gardens at the moment. Unfortunately, I am working with my MRP right now indoors and expecting a FedEx delivery as well, so haven't seen the ocean today :'( But the pleasure of hearing from you negates all these misfortunes. Have a great Friday!

Diplomatru You know after work the reward comes ;) I am sure you will finish your duties ASAP because I imagine that working indoors its extremely hard when outside it is 83 degrees :P so you have pretty good reason to hurry up 8) finish & get your beach towel & splash in salted water :P until sunset :)
Enjoy the weekend and your freedom ;) All the best :)

Yes waiting & trying to be patient. I've heard that applications may have a 'bring forward date' - will they tell us this date over the phone ?

Got My MR today !

I just read that to land at the border at Peace Arch, I read that i will notify canada officials that Im there to do my landing. Then they'll direct me to cross the border by walking to the US side. A US guard will then give me a refusal letter and redirect me to canada officials then I can do my landing. Now thats just what I read in one of the forums here so please correct me if Im wrong.
That's right. I just did so at Peace Arch
