One quick question is the $490 RPRF per person meaning $980 for me and my spouse or $490 for me including spouse ?

Thanks

nishant, is there RK6165 in the signature at the end of the email?

Yes there is RK6165 in the signature at the end of the email. Also guys , the other thing is I am from Nepal, and they talked about prioritized processing for Nepalese Applicants , not sure if that caused my RPRF and PCC request to come in faster .

Thanks

Prioritized processing for Nepal citizens ? Really ? Did they mention this in the email they sent to you ? I wasn't aware that certain countries get a priority. But if that is the case, then that's great for you man!

Its good to see atleast some movement on the applications.

Hello,
I just got PCC and RPRF Request , but no medical yet. Also they have mistyped my apartment number in the address, how should I proceed for Address update, RPRF and PCC ?

Good luck to all waiting Applicants, I hope you all get MRs this week.

congrats bro! :)

Bro ,
The prioritized processing for Nepal citizens is in the light of massive earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25th, if you are not aware of that. It has been a really devastating one . 7.9 Magnitude earthquake it was.
:(

Yes I knew about the earthquake but didn't know they would speed things up here on account of that.

Hello all, I am a newbie first time posting on this form.

submitted my application for family class spouse sponsership on Feb 2.

Applied outland assumed Beijing would be processing our application.

On April 30, I have received my first email from CPC-m stating Mt sponsership application is approved and the application is being forwarded to CPC-Ottawa.

Timing is going to be critical here as my partners post graduation work permit will expire in 14 months while the processing time for CPC- ottawa is currently stating 15 months.

for those applied before me, may you please advise if the 15 months quote is realistic. What should I be expecting down the path? Is there anything I can do to brige her work permit? Can she atleast stay next year when her work permit expires?

Any input would be much appriciated.

Well, firstly this is a FSW Application group, so I am not sure if anyone would know the answer to this question. You may have to post this question in a group that is relevant for the same.

As far as your question is concerned, I believe that CIC usually states a timeline but it usually keeps changing as it may have applied when your partner applied for PGWP. I am confident that once your application is in process there is high chances to apply for BOWP. There is a certain timeline in which a BOWP has to be applied quoting your application number which is in processing with CIC.

I am also confident that if you happen to speak to CIC, you will receive an email where the CIC officer will give you reading material and directions on how you can tackle this situation.

Good luck!

Nope, you are incorrect!

I read somewhere that you don't even need to go to the US side to get a refusal. Just tell the guys at the Border that you are there for landing and they will help you to cross the border and get the landing done..no need to get the refusal letter from US Customs.

You are perfectly correct!!!...not a refusal letter per see, its like a form with your name on it, its already in their system that you have entered US and you were refused entry. Its not gonna be written as a letter - that form is used by Canada immigration to process your landing. Hence you do not need a US visa.

I just read that to land at the border at Peace Arch, I read that i will notify canada officials that Im there to do my landing. Then they'll direct me to cross the border by walking to the US side. A US guard will then give me a refusal letter and redirect me to canada officials then I can do my landing. Now thats just what I read in one of the forums here so please correct me if Im wrong.
