Guys I just got my passport back with CoPR!!! :D :D :D

Passport was received at Ottawa office on April 23 and came back today, took exactly 13 days, for others who want to know the approximate waiting time.

By the way, I will be doing my landing this weekend, I will be crossing Peace Arch, but I will go into the U.S. and then come back into a Canada a few hours later, is there a problem with that or is it better just to flagpole???

Thanks!!

How long have you been here in Canada Grace? I also plan on taking a vacation (a month more or else) to see my family in the Philippines :)

MaryJane,
I have never been in Canada :)
I am in US for over 10 years :)

Where are you in Canada and how long you have been already?

Hi,
so if i land and stay for around two weeks in toronto,I can still apply for a healthcard which should be mailed to my freinds address and will become active after three months??or do i have to be physically available in canada to collect it/make it active after three months.

You have to physically reside in Ontario to be eligible for OHIP. It is not like ordering pizza and deciding whether to pick it up yourself or have it delivered by someone else. There is a certain application process which entails specific rights and obligations and you will not be permitted to obtain this privelege the way you envisioned it.

Hi Diplomatru,
Thanks for your reply , notwithstanding the pizza delivery analogy :)
Actually i read the details in the link that other forum member sent me and am quite clear about the OHIP process now.

received and sent my pcc to cpc-0 today...i think i am done with everything from my side..wait for ppr begins..:)

Hi friends, Did anyone from this forum landed in canada from US and came back??My plan is to move some time later this year or next. How do I justify this to immigration officer at border at my first visit??

My MR email (received 17-3) says 90 days and not 60. So I guess I should expect RFV around 17-6.... :-X

i think so as they r widening the time range by saying 90 days .... of course may be plus 10 days for instance

1) What is the value of applying for a SIN card immediately after landing in Canada. I plan to move to Canada in the next 8 months.
2) Does anyone know what is the processing time for making a travel document?
