I would recommend getting your prints done at a place that does the LiveScan instead of the old standard ink prints, if you can locate a place near you that does that -- just to avoid having your application to FBI for PCC rejected like my wife had happen twice. Her problem is that her hands are very smooth so it is hard to get good prints. With the ink version it comes out however it comes out. If you do the electronic LiveScan method they can scan and rescan until they get a good image to print on the fingerprint cards.
