As I remember correctly - Diplomatru said - if everything is complete - and the only thing is missing is PCC, than after CIC receive it - it should be between 2-3 weeks.

Good luck ;)

The closer we are to the finish line, the harder the wait becomes!

Today will mark a month from when CIC received your MEDS. I hope that you receive your PPR today or latest by next week. ;D

That is so nice of you, thank you for nice thoughts :)

I agree the closer it gets the hardest it gets, we would like to put all the afford in getting ready to go, but still can't because we are not sure if all will work out....

Every day decisions are put on hold because we don't know which way to go....

ahhhhh Life....

All the bets to you, my Friend... wish you all best ....

That's what VFS is for.

Hello Diplo,

Do we have to intimate CIC about this? I am in similar situation with my H1B ending by 30th May. If I get RFV by next 2 weeks, I won't have time to send and receive my PP's before visa expiry. Problem is that you never get response from CIC when you send a mail and I fear this might delay the stamping process. Any thoughts?

I do not know where to begin, or what my thoughts are right now.

I was asked by CIC to send FBI PCC back on Sept 2014 and gave me 2 months time, i.e., until Nov 16 2014 for submission of documents. Because of FBI delays, i requested for extension. They gave me extension till Dec 16 2014. I got my FBI PCC on Dec 12 2014, and sent it to CIC office - received and signed by CIC authorities on Dec 15 2014. FBI certificate was favorable in my judgement.

I sent an email to CIC authorities as well, stating, i had sent the FBI PCC documents along with tracking details the same day. I sent multiple emails to CIC and i wasn't getting any response back, even though, i got confirmation stating my email was delivered successfully to them.

Today i received an email from my attorneys - Peter and Abram Kroshack, that CIC had refused my application since they didn't receive FBI PCC till date. This is the only communication i got. Luckily, to prove there has been some mistake in CIC, CAIPS/GCMS notes which i ordered last month shows a different story that FBI PCC was received by CIC. I got notes last week. It shows a line in CAIPS/GCMS which states:

comments: Document Received : Narayanan Doraiswamy :- FBI Clearance.
created/updated date : 2014/12/17.

I think i have 2 options here:
a) Send them an email/detailed letter explaining the case, and ask CIC to reconsider the decision.
b) if for some reason CIC does not agree to resume the processing of your application, I will submit an application for leave and judicial review to the Federal Court of Canada within 60 days of April 21, 2015, the date the decision was received.

If for some reasons, you are seeing unusual delay in processing your case, i suggest ordering GCMS/CAIPS. Process is straight forward, and can be requested though email - attaching the required forms. 30 days approximately for receiving your notes, and 40$ or so for ordering your file.

http://www.caips.ca/

And as for me, my hopes are getting diminished...All in all, i think its going to be a long sleepless nights for me, until i get to know whats going on with my application. I am also working on required funds that i need for Judicial review for my case.

I received the decision letter couple of days back and it states CIC hasnt received the FBI letter. I have emailed/faxed copy of all proofs, including letter from Fedex stating it was delivered, with the name of person who signed it ( "YVES"), copy of GCMS notes, and email that was sent to CIC confirming that FBI letter was sent over to them way back in December 2014. I called CIC yestreday and explained to them in detail, and they seem to be denying that CIC has got my FBI PCC. They asked me to submit the proof i had, and highlight it appropriately to showcase i have done my due diligence. Attorneys also contacted me, and they told me they are sending a legal letter to CIC asking them to reopen the application today.

I am half dead man now ( as everyone knows we start the process 1-2 years before and work towards it ), and my other half is still hopeful for justice.

Dear Nartcr,

All our prayers are with you and I wish you all the luck. I am sure your case will be reopened and you will get your PR soon bro!!!

How can I check whether they received my RPRF receipt or no ? Do we get any reply from CIC ?

you'd have got a reply from e-payment with a receipt and after submitting that you'd have got an automated reply.

something like this,

"We have received your email sent to CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca<mailto:CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca> and we’ll update your information shortly. Please do not reply to this message. Replies to this e-mail will not be acknowledged as this email address is exclusively reserved for cost recovery."

Just for my satisfaction, I had also called CIC after a week to confirm
