Hey guys,

What does an email with subject "Ready For Visa" means?

Does it mean that the visa has been issued and they just need to receive my passport? I don't see any updates in ECAS. Its still saying In Process and only 3 lines showing up.

Please advise.

Thanks
It means you are a Canadian now! Congratulations . . . . :)

Here is my timeline..

App. Recieved: 23rd Sep. 2014

Start processing: 27th Feb. 2015

MR, PCC and landing fees requested on 3rd March 2015

Medicals done on 17th March 2015

Fees and PCC submitted on 28th March..

Now how much time will it take to make a decision? Any idea!!?

Done with the medicals today....

I just found this on the Global Spread sheet for FSW2014.
9/24/14 applicant received Passport Request from CPC-Ottawa on 4/8/15
I tried attaching the image file but don't know how to.

Do they just make Random PPR request???

Congrats Zentury. If you dont mind can you share detail from the medical exam for which you might have received this surveillance thing??Did some minor issue like weight, BMI, Blood pressure came up during Medicals?

I guess code 2.02 is for an inactive TB which is the most common case.
I read that we gotta do a final tb test within canada post-landing.

Hey Diplo,

what is best time to call CIC for getting connected agent ?
I have been trying since last week & hitting the auto recorded message that due to high volume we can not transfer your call to agent.

I am worried about whether my original PCCs are received & want to confirm along with MR received status.

The only advice I can give is to be persistent.

He won't be a Canadian at least for the next four and a half years.
He can do anything any Canadian inside the country can do except voting! who cares! That's Canadian enough for me lol

Hi, guys, I need your help badly. Is it possible for me to land in Canada with my study permit and then change my address from US to Canada for FSW application? (I am working in the US now) My master program will start in August but I have not heard anything from CIC since I received MER in mid Dec 2014. Thank you so much for advice. :o
