Thank you :-)
IMM is the name of the Medical Form. IME is the number of eMedical file linked to your application.

LANDED!!!

So my Ottawa people, this is the end of my PR journey ;D,

Both the US & Canada border agents were nice @ carway(went to US border office for documentation) - I drove almost 6hrs from Edmonton, it was stressful because I just finished my night shift and had to jump on the road without sleeping or even resting - it was a nice experience, beautiful icey mountains with the heavenly clouds resting on them at Cardston/carway. But there was this sh*tty super-strong wind that can blow off your car while on speed!!! >:(
I wish you guys best of lucks as we will all get there...but I will still be on this forum as much as I can to render my assistance brothers & sisters

In between, immigration officer collected all my permits: from old to current (study permit, PGWP & BOWP) :)

Hello Everyone!!!! and Happy Friday

It has been a week since I received my PPR and it wasn't until today that I was able to send my passport... life is a big irony, 3 months waiting for that email and I received it in Philly (I live in California) as I flew that day to DC to spend a week with my familiy.

Just to share a little bit of my plan in case it is of any help. But some facts first: 1) I live in North California, 2) plan to land in Vancouver in May

..............I dont know anyone in Canada, so I just rented a mailbox through UPS, the good thing about it is that that it shows a real home address rather than a PO BOX. I rented for a whole year (+3 months free) for CAD $190. I sent all the contract and ID by email and they opened for me. This is the adress I will use for landing.
4) Went to DMV and asked for a certified driver record, got is instantly and paid $5. BC allows US drivers to obtain the BC dirver's license without taking the test if they can prove 2 years of driving experience w/o main issues.

Next step will be to actually land and see where my next adventure takes me.

Happy weekend to you all

Wow!!! you guys are so resourceful!!! ...How do you find out about all of these things (like getting a UPS mailbox which has a REAL home address)! That is a NICE find and it will help me a lot! THANK YOU!! ;D ...except that I am hoping I can do the same thing in Buffalo. Once I go to Canada I still have a lot of business here in the US, and my brother (who is a US citizen) may be away from the US for a year or so, and I'll need an actual address to receive things. Many places won't send things to PO boxes.

Whenever I input something in google, all I get is stuff with a .com ending and US related ::) ::)

Thank you dear Captain! :) +1
I'll share the news as soon as CPC-O raises much awaited information to my attention.

bat001, that's quite a permit collection you had. Hope that your shiny new PR card will add up to it! Congrats and I wish I had a +1 to celebrate your achievement!
