I don't know what do you mean by MER.
PPR email gives applicant 30 days to mail-in the passport. There is no pick-up option. They return your stuff by Canada Post.

Thanks again Diplomatru, your answer is helpful indeed. For MER I mean Medical Exam Result Received.

nope..thats after you get your Permanent residency (PR)..if you have got medical request you are not from from PR probably another 3 months approximately ..so hold off taking admission till then as once ur a PR u'll not have to pay fee of an international student rather a canadian citizen which would be at-least 2-3 times less.

Hello everyone,

I hope some-one would be able to give their views about this. I had submitted my arranged employment documents along with Post graduate work permit and few days back I had received an email to submit 6 months transaction statements to show the settlement funds and having only 30 days for it. I have 2 questions here:

Does it mean settlement funds = whatever I have – credit card or it has nothing to do with the credit card expenses.

Moreover, since I came to know about this after receiving PER so I was not ready for it, if I make all the transactions now in one account from different sources within 15 days , will it going to effect the visa officer decision?
When did u received this email??we have same timeline..i hope you to received email on 6th march..

Yes, I had received it on 6th of March.

I am rephrasing my question since I was not clear,

I have 2 questions here:

Does it mean settlement funds = $12000 and lets say I have debt of $3500

The settlement funds calculated will be $12000 or $8500 ??? Which one will be considered?

Moreover, since I came to know about this after receiving PER so I was not ready for it, if I make all the transactions now in one account from different sources within 15 days , (I have made the transactions in one account already) will it going to effect the visa officer decision?

What is wait time from Medical + RPRF paid to >>> PPR request?

Hello dear,

Two late May applicants reported PPRs yesterday. So, I am expecting some action this week. But unlike other VOs CPC-O is not at its best :-(
