I got 2nd line update today: "medical results have been received"
However, I also sent RPRF receipt, but they didnot mentioned.
Is that okay... Please post your valuable comments.

That is really fast. I have done my medical on January 26 and still no 3rd line updated.
It is just driving me crazy. Does the immigration officer update the ECAS status for each case or there is one let say medical department to do this?
Just don't understand why some people get their 3rd line in 3-10 days while some are waiting more than a month.

Absolutely, and also on medicals if you would have done it in India :) Luckily I went there on official trip and took family, it was around $350 for 3 of us. :D :D

It all depends on CPC Agent, its like finger prints...not the same for 2...don't worry, you will get an update soon...

@Diplomatru - I have started putting my "Consultant" hat now...

Your doctor uploads your meds to RMO in Ottawa. The MD there checks your results and enters them into GCMS. Then your case officer receives a reminder that some new information, pertaining to the file is available and technically he/she has to bring forward the file and mark the medical assessment as completed. It is a five second task that leads to status update in CAS.

But sometimes the CO does not bring forward the file waiting for the due date. And sometimes they even skip the due date. Totally dependant on CO. Look at me, I am waiting for the third line update since January 9, lol, although I received confirmation from RMO and CIC helpline that the results have been received.

There is no way to check/confirm of RPRF receipt. It is weird, they have left just process with a lose end.

I sent email and made sure I got the auto reply. And also send it via mail.

There was one user whos receipt never reached the CIC office. He contacted them late, they asked him to verify that he had sent the receipt in the given time. So, please double your effort. Email(free) and USPS mail with confirmation (~$13).

Thank you very much for the wide answer. It is very appreciated +1. :D

I have one more question. When I called CIC helpline an agent said that my medical was not attached to my application. What does it mean? He said that the doctor could upload the results but they are not attached to the file yet. Now I start to worry because that seems like it is not mentioned in GCMS notes about my medical if the agent doesn't see it.

Hey My home address also came up.
They updated my mailing address to my home address. It was my consultant's address all along! I hope it is only a s/w glitch. I want all my correspondence to go to my consultant.

If only they would move my application forward! Rather than playing with my addresses!

I already told you. It is the CO who needs to attach/complete the assessment. He/she hasn't touched your file. That's it. If you have GCMS notes and know the name of your CO, you can share it here.

That's too much to ask of CPC-O lol

Thank you again. Now I understand. Unfortunately No, I don't have GCMS notes, I didn't order them yet.
