It can sound stupid but I am afraid to find something there what can make me worry more than now. I am worried about my file now but if I find out that the officer is not happy with something in my application I will be getting crazy.Diplomatru said:What's stopping you? They are very informative. Depends on many (and I mean it) factors.zamanahmed said:Done with medical today. Now waiting for RCMP criminal record check, which may take one month. Will it slow down my PPR process?
Thanks +1Diplomatru said:Depends on many (and I mean it) factors.
To name a few:
1) security screening is sent in batch and received in batch. They don't send requests to CSIS in between. IF it didn't make it, the file is waiting the next batch dispatch.
2) due date on CO desk. The CO can bring forward the file when security screening is received or wait until due date. Totally up to him/her.
3) when finally CO marks all assessments as completed the file is queued for final review by IPM. And that is a long line.
To sum up, if you are lucky, the file moves quickly. If not, all of the aforementioned combined can delay your decision made by 100 days or more.
After graduation you can apply for Post Graduation Work Permit that will give you at least 1 year of legal status in Canada.zamanahmed said:Thanks +1
I only hope to land before 31st August, 2015, before my study permit expires.

I stand by your observation Dittmar.Dittmar said:I think they are sending out PPRs by batch as well. In the last two months they sent out PPRs from day 9 to day 13. Let's hope we are in this next one, Diplomatru!!! ;D
