What is an acceptable "proof of funds" at the border? People with landing experience, please respond.

I think a recent bank statement is sufficent

True, visas for PA and dependants must be stamped at the same time.

Thanks a lot.
I think I can send my passport to CPC-O for mine and request them to change the visa stamping of my family members to the closest visa office of their country (i.e. Bangladesh).
As mailing their passports from Bangladesh to USA and then again sending all together to CPC-O from USA would be hectic and may be troublesome.
Whats your opinion.

Thanks again!

Morning all for the UK

A quick question - my wife recently had a baby and I was wondering what form of ID do we need to notify CIC of this news. Is a Birth Certificate ok or do they require a passport?

Thanks in advance for your help

Happy Monday and good luck for today and this week for all those expecting news inc ME :)

I already told you. Stamping must take place simultaneously at the same location for all PPs on the file. It's 100%.

Any Xpresspost lables activated today?

If there is no current document request for you from CIC for which you need to reply within a given time, i would suggest you to write an email to CIC about the birth and take their inputs. Or go ahead and apply for the passport (not sure of UK pp procedures) and get them as well.

No you cannot have your passports stamped at one Visa office and your Family members in different Visa office. Passports are to be stamped at the same Visa office and together.

You're welcome. Would you please share the happy news with us as soon as your label gets activated. My passports reached CPC-O on 28th of January so I am particularly interested in knowing when your label gets activated.

Thank you guys for your information. I think its not the usual case though but you can send the passports to two different visa offices for stamping.
I have found this forum.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/visa-stamping-at-other-office-t187037.1110.html

There are many of them who have done the same thing (sending their passports to one visa office and the other family passports to different visa office though you need to mail the request to CPC and they will send you an additional passport request for a new visa office).

Hope it will be really helpful for all of us.
