I want to share something interesting which i happens to see in the November time line thread. (I posted this in few other threads just to get more insights from many members as possible )

NOC: 2172,
application received by CIC: 03 Nov 2014.
Method of payment: CC.

Unfortunately, my application was returned to me.

"You have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC.
You have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.
Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you meet the work experience requirement for the occupation as described by the NOC - 2172 - Database analysts and data administrators."

And, with all the information collected from this forum, reading again the letter of recommendation from my employee and the contract with him, I understand why the officer came to this conclusion. The contract is a standard one, where I am named a "PROGRAMMER". And the letter doesn't say very much to help my case. The credit card was not charged.

The application was send back to me on 17 dec 2014. I have received the package on 6 feb 2015.

Does this means that the CIC officer is checking our Job descriptions with the NOCs lead statements and NOC duties even before they charge our CCs ??

Our initial understanding was that the CIC will check our Job descriptions and duties after they charge our CCs (when calculating our points)and They will do this when they doing the Possible Eligibility Review and if the out come of the positive eligibility review is negative, they will send us the NER. Isn't this the usual methodology we were thinking what is happening in CIC when we send a new application?

By looking at the above explanation by the CIC officer, it looks like they are doing the points calculation even before they charge the CCs. And what could they be doing at the stage of PER?

Looking forward to hear you guys thoughts about this??

It is out of date, but looks like inland security checks used to take 2 months.

Applications for Permanent Residence from Within Canada
The Service has the sole responsibility for screening immigrants and refugees who apply for permanent residence status from within Canada. In 2000–2001, the Service received 44 278 such screening requests.7 The median turnaround time for screening applications was 66 days—with an average of 60 days to process electronic applications and 195 days for paper applications.

they ask for pcc last friday ... did you receieved the same request?

I am from the UK and sent PCC so would not expect to get a request for PCC

Intersting and thanks for sharing, it has been 3 months since medicals and RPRF though, so would it be a case the inland check takes two months and then other checks are adding to delays?

02 Feb 2015 - Received email from CPC-O for Proof of Fund and 6 months bank statement for account activity. The same day I have sent the documents thru email.

06 Feb 2015 : Received email for RPRF payment notification.
07 Feb 2015 : Received MR email.

This is the most time-consuming assessment, so I doubt it. The final decision is made by immigration program manager and there is a review schedule for that too. Could be the reason for delays at Ottawa. Let me know when your GCMS notes arrive. Monday is not a holiday in ON, so they may send it sooner.

Ok 44 days since per and no mr yet starting to worry but as some reported 50 days before i will try to stay calm this week too...i will start to have hypertension very soon because of this

Congrats bro, do you live in Canada? It is obvious your proof of fund request was at a employment/eligibility background check stage (before medical)...

Hi All,
I had sent an email to CPC-O for change of address on 6-Jan and I could see today that address has been updated in my app.
so it took them a month to change it. Now I'm getting dreams of PPR as there is some action happening on my app
My FBI PCC was received by CPC-O on 7-Jan.

Absolutely..! I'd say go for it. As long as immigrants come to Canada, your service will flourish.

If you are out of Canada, third party is your only way to go. I am inland applicant, so I file ATIP requests directly.
I think of starting a GCMS retrieving service on my own =)

Could be, but they don't have any different timelines for FSW1 vs FSW2.

I notice a lot on here applied FSW1 and I applied FSW2 so maybe they process fsw1 quicker, who knows?

I think it really depends on the officer. I sent my pcc with the application eventhough it's an old one. I was just asked to send my partner's pcc along with the rprf. (I didn't travel outside canada after I got that pcc last 2011)
