Dear Friends,

I want to share something interesting which i happens to see in the November time line thread. (I posted this in few other threads just to get more insights from many members as possible )

Hi friends,

NOC: 2172,
application received by CIC: 03 Nov 2014.
Method of payment: CC.

Unfortunately, my application was returned to me.

And, with all the information collected from this forum, reading again the letter of recommendation from my employee and the contract with him, I understand why the officer came to this conclusion. The contract is a standard one, where I am named a "PROGRAMMER". And the letter doesn't say very much to help my case. The credit card was not charged.

The application was send back to me on 17 dec 2014. I have received the package on 6 feb 2015.

Thank you all for your good hearts, and God be on your side on your journey.

Does this means that the CIC officer is checking our Job descriptions with the NOCs lead statements and NOC duties even before they charge our CCs ??

Our initial understanding was that the CIC will check our Job descriptions and duties after they charge our CCs (when calculating our points)and They will do this when they doing the Possible Eligibility Review and if the out come of the positive eligibility review is negative, they will send us the NER. Isn't this the usual methodology we were thinking what is happening in CIC when we send a new application?

By looking at the above explanation by the CIC officer, it looks like they are doing the points calculation even before they charge the CCs. And what could they be doing at the stage of PER?

Looking forward to hear you guys thoughts about this??

Thanks!

Actually, job duties match with the nominated NOC IS checked before charging at a very superficial level. So, any obvious issues with job description (like if it is missing/if it is not detailed/does not contain all the required info/not specific enough etc) are checked in the completeness check stage. During eligibility review, any other subtle issues are detected. In fact, a lot of applications rejected before charging are due to issues related to experience letters.

Could be, but they don't have any different timelines for FSW1 vs FSW2.

I'm on a another forum and I noticed that those with PNP and CEC had different timelines and on this forum post getting PR before me are FSW1 so it leads me to think maybe they process FSW1 quicker

Hi all soon to be canadians, I hope someone can help me. Is it possible to do medicals now without the MR request? If yes, how?and how am i/hospital supposed to send it after?

Thanks much!

I think it really depends on the officer. I sent my pcc with the application eventhough it's an old one. I was just asked to send my partner's pcc along with the rprf. (I didn't travel outside canada after I got that pcc last 2011)

Maybe I have slower visa officer then lol :P

You could try to do upfront medicals but not sure it would help, if you get PR you have to land one year from medicals and if PC are slow at processing your file you may have very limited time to land

Hi Diplomatru,

If i do that, then i save the 2 weeks of waiting for medical results from the hospital. If i got my MR, i can send it right away.

The thing is, i am up here in the north and airfare going down to ottawa is too much. My friend is going south for medicals as she got invited for EE. I would like to go with her. :) i know it's silly. Lol

What do you think?

Dear Friends,

02 Feb 2015 - Received email from CPC-O for Proof of Fund and 6 months bank statement for account activity. The same day I have sent the documents thru email.

06 Feb 2015 : Received email for RPRF payment notification.
07 Feb 2015 : Received MR email.

:) :) :) :) :) :)

Congratulations, these guys are really slow, hopefully this week will be our turn. Is also good to see they worked on Saturday.

Hi all-
1. What are steps after MR & RPRF request.

2. I am living here in USA and my family (wife and two kids) are staying back in Bangladesh. Now, if CPC-O asks for the visa stamping, where should I send the passports of my wife and kids. Should all the passports be sent in a single package.

Thanks again in advance.
Take care

if your country permits your passport to be sent out of the country...you can arrange for a single package delivery for you and family, if not..you will have to arrange for visa stamping @ a Canadian embassy in or close to your country i.e for your family

True, visas for PA and dependants must be stamped at the same time.

What is an acceptable "proof of funds" at the border? People with landing experience, please respond.
