Just a quick fire curious question.
For those of us applying from US, is FBI PCC enough or do we need state police clearance certificate as well?

FBI PCC will suffice.

I am waiting too. I guess they don't necessarily follow the pattern of 1st come 1st serve, because I have seen two applicants in September 15 and 18 with PER in December 31 and January 6 respectively, getting MR. As for 30 days notice I think the guy was not asked to send PCC, only MR. Fingers crossed! It will soon get to our turn. I was expecting MR but I got this communique from cic on my email about 779 got invited. I tried to copy the link it says this communication is private. Am I alone on this?

Hello Guys, do we have anyone here whose passports were received by CPC after 19 Jan?

Thanks for your reply tatum. Insha'Allah you get your tracking activated today. I was out if country when I got my PPR so I sent passports late. It reached CPC-O at 28th Jan. Seems it will be a long wait for me with this rate.

hmm, wouldn't most of this 779 have CPC-O as their visa processing office?. If so then wht happens to our already slowing timelines?

These 779 could be from all over the world (some could be for CPC-O). Once these successful applicants submit their documents, visa offices will have a strict SLA for processing such applications. But yes, that might slow down the applications already under process.

But rest assured that more then 90% would be from inside Canada with already working+Job offer+LMIA, otherwise to get valid job offer from outside Canada is like going to Moon, very difficult.

I disagree with the fact that the current EE processing (if received) @CPC-O will slow down the application(fsw) under processing, remember that this fsw also have strict processing times for them...well ofcourse if there is document delay on an applicant's part, I do not see reason why CIC will delay...Lets think of this, If CIC can delay applications from previous fsw, that also means there is a high probability that some EE applications coming in can also be delayed for different reasons

Lets note that They are also workers who have supervisors who query them if they don't work well with pace :)
