are you in Canada? I am in Ottawa, so it's really close for Canada Post to deliver it. You should be getting yours soon too!

I saw below Q &A from canada post site. I think international mail have custom clearances issues also . ciscoguy should able to tell how he track his packet assuming he too have used xpresspost service

An item I sent to another country has not been delivered yet. Where is it?

Answer
Delivery times depend on the shipping service used and the destination country.
Please keep in mind that items sent internationally must first clear customs. Depending upon volumes, delays may occur. We cannot intervene in the customs process nor can the postal administration of the destination country.
Regular mail items without tracking numbers move through the destination country's regular mail; we are not advised of delivery nor can we inquire about status.
What you can do...
If you have a tracking number, find the latest status using Track. (Please note that we rely on the destination country for all status updates once the item leaves Canada.)
Track your U.S. items with the United States Postal Service.
For other countries, visit the postal website of the destination country.
Look up the expected delivery date.
Look up your destination and see if your item has restrictions that may cause customs delays.
See if your item contains non-mailable matter.
If you are the sender and the delivery standard date has passed, file a claim online.

This is true but steps are like this...
First canadapost will receive and update tracker and send to USPS.
USPS will update tracking details on their site.

You could be right, Try call customer care to confirm your assumptions.
Xpresspost is primarily for delivery within Canada. I am not sure how they track or
Update info for international items. It appears tricky to courier passport across border.
Through many H1B people getting PR visas for Canada. I am sure you will get packet in 2-3 days.
cheers...

USPS will update their site with tracking details, once they receive it from Canada Post, and it is clearly mentioned on the 'Xpresspost USA Shipping Label', purchased online using Canada Credit Card.
