we still dont have exp bro, ppl r waiting for ppr, MR etc...i think no one landed yet. there are other threads, please follow them...they have some info there

i am being very impatient at this stage because of my travel in the next month...i want my pp back before this month,.. even without visa stamp id ont mind...will send them later...

Just border landing is best. I plan to get it done at rainbow bridge, Niagara falls.
It is already 3.45 pm, u still did not get the package? Did u check ur mailbox

I think signature is required, they cant just put it like that....they knew it has pp in it.

Yes, I included the print out in the package, because it was mentioned in the PPR mail.

Good to know, if you did not print out the ready for visa email, please expect delays in receiving your passports back. Remember CPC Ottawa not only processes Immigrant visas but also Temporary resident visas (TRV) whose ready-for-visa emails are different. So if you guys didn't send the ready for visa print out, they will spend some time figuring out if your passport requires an immigrant or a TRV visa.

Yep, I did...
documents enclosed
1. CIC email about requesting passports.
2. 3 Passports in original (2 PA and 1 Spouse passport).
3. Return shipping label to USA mailing address.
4. My flight tickets for travel in Feb from USA to India.

What you say might be true, but I feel they refer application and UCI numbers you mention in your cover letter to pull your application online, and cross check the passports with the information entered in "General Application' form and send your passports to appropriate division for printing the immigrant visa.

just speculation, no one knows for sure what happens inside CIC, but lets hope for the best ...

only if u request this feature ,when buying the xpresspost from canada post . Otherwise they drop the package at mailbox.
also in status they will mention, dropped at mailbox

may be, i donnno anything about canada yet ... but i will know in future
