What you say might be true, but I feel they refer application and UCI numbers you mention in your cover letter to pull your application online, and cross check the passports with the information entered in "General Application' form and send your passports to appropriate division for printing the immigrant visa.

just speculation, no one knows for sure what happens inside CIC, but lets hope for the best ...

Yes, with in 15 mins, status got changed to 'Decision made'. UPS Delivery Time: 10:45 AM, and 10:50 AM no change, and refreshed the page @ 11:00 AM, there it is 'Decision Made'.

i submitted my application package on June, 16th, got PER mail on October. 25th, then I was told to send additional documents to them in November by email. The required documents were delivered on Dec. 5th.

Then I haven't got any reply until now, need advice!

You drove 1,000 KM to deliver the package by yourself? How much did it cost for you (apart from time and stress on your body)?

Not sure why you did that, but UPS delivered my package in 15 hours for $45 from USA. (Next day delivery : weight:0.5 lbs and I dropped the package @ 6:30 PM)

Any specific reason you choose to drive 1000 KM in winter? (apart form fun though )

Congrats! I have sent my passports to cpc-ottawa, and waiting for tracker to get activated.

You have 3 options:

1) Use the Canada credit card to purchase the 'Xpresspost USA' Shipping Label online using the link included in your PPR mail. (If you have any friends in Canada, you can use their VISA, Master Card or Amex Cards)

2) If you have any friends in Canada, then ask them to buy the 'Xpresspost USA prepaid envelope' and send it to you. You have to include it along with your passports.

3) Send your passports, and CPC-Ottawa will return them in regular Canada Post.

I have wasted enough time on this going through lots of posts, but it all boils down to above three options. I hope it will save some of your time.... Seniors please add your comments ... Thanks!

Hospital that did my medicals told me that they have uploaded e-medical results on 12-Jan-2015. And the FBI PCC/RPRF receipts I mailed to Ottawa also reached CPC-O on 12-JAN-2015. Its more than a week and I don't see the third line updated in my ECAS. is this normal? should I be worried ?.. anyone else in this situation. Let me know. Thanks

For me, it took 3 days for status update, and it may take 5 to 7 days (few people reported that). If your doctor has eMedical then ask them to give a print out of medical completed/Uploaded page and a copy of your medical results. With that you will also know that there is no problem with your medicals. All the best !

There are some applicants who haven't seen a third line update since November, so it's luck-based. I completed the ME on Jan. 5, and the results were uploaded on Jan. 8 and CAS is still as boring as hell

Well, they don't reject an application at this stage without giving you a chance to answer to their concerns, so as long as you don't receive any notification from CPC-O, consider your file to be in routine processing and stop looking at others' timelines as it leads only to stress.
