Dear friends,

need help here - I have been given 60 days time period to submit MR, RPRF, PCCs from India, UK and US. Currently I am in US. I submitted these documents and paid feeds before due date. But due to US FBI PCC processing delay,I could not attach US PCC with my documents. I told the reason in my letter.

They got my documents on 22nd Nov 2014. Till today nothing I heard from them. Even I did not get US PCC. This week supposed to be last week of processing for PCC so I am going to wait this week.

But could you guys suggest what should I do..? CIC has not responded further after submission of my documents.

Regards,

Rahul,

I am in the same boat. My 60 days period is about to end and my FBI PCC in still in process. I suggest you to send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca requesting to extend your deadline. I have requested one, but haven't heard back from them yet.

Thanks for your reply, I did not request for extension, I just sent whatever I have and in my letter I requested to allow US FBI later whenever I received.

But nothing I heard back from CIC. I thought better to send documents whatever I have rather than sending nothing before due date.

I applied under both programs and under both I am waiting for MR
Great. Could you please add details of your FSW application to the spreadsheet using the link http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Entry.

When did your application reach the FBI office for processing?
Here is a thread dedicated solely on FBI PCC timeline. The turn around time is approximately 14-16 weeks.

So after rprf payment and meds would the new BFWD be set for security checks perhaps?

Look, BFD is just a reminder of sorts to keep the file going. Imagine the case officer submitted the request for security check with CSIS and set a due date in two months. If the results arrive earlier, the file is opened the same day. If not, in two months time he will follow up with CSIS to learn about the delays and set a new BFD.

Once again, it doesn't mean that the file is opened at BFDs only!

It seems CPC Ottawa has stopped issuing MR. Any late July early August applicants got MR lately?

Thanks for the feedback Diplomatru :)

What do you mean by restoration status?

I applied for BOWP when I still had time left in work permit and had received PER. For the BOWP your current work permit still needs to be valid.

immigration can be funny sometimes lol, but i will advice you ONLY IF you have applied for the restoration of your status for work or study and you are currently waiting for decision...if your application for restoration is ongoing and you have already received a PER, send additional document ASAP to immigration with a coverletter stating that you've an ongoing application for PR...send your PER letter and any additional document asap before they make a decision, restoration is 50/50 as an immigration officer wants to know why you let it expire and if theres any further reason to keep u in Canada....

Stay safe!!!

It seems that there is an issue in the mr emails as one of the forum members called masood8 living in ksa has been asked by london office to do upfront medicals as the medicals cant be seen in the physician panel ...whatever this means?

I hope they clarify this problem soon

I completely agree with you. From the spreadsheet the average time between PER and MR/RPRF is 37 days and its already 43 days for me. I hope they starting sending out MRs soon.

BTW, have you applied under FSW or CEC because I couldn't find your details in the FSW spreadsheet.

Calm down guys, u will get MR soon, I got mine after 47 days from PER.

Gentlemen, anyone saw this before?

Anybody received PPR yesterday?

Hopefully it will rain PPR today.
