I got the MER but need to submit the FBI background clearance report. I mailed this report today. How long will I get the DM and be request to submit Passport for PR visa?

Guys ..it's my observation that if you get mr early the time between TLU and DM is long and if you get Mr late then the time between TLU and DM is less so don't worry

Kerdek my friend don't worry ..you will get the DM (FLU) soon..you have to give it 3-4 weeks time from MR..
i really think it's around the corner now..!!

Thanks Harrysaini. The thing is you will never know how CIC works which causes an ongoing concern, some people get their visas after 7 months and others take years to reach the finish line .At the end, I hope we all get is soon. ;D

Completed our landing formalities at rainbow bridge on saturday. I would suggest for other people to avoid landing at rainbow bridge on saturday due to long waiting hours. We waited for almost 4 hrs. Officer suggested others to go peace bridge or other bridge on niagara for this due to heavy work load.

I had been asked for pof and address proof. Also they asked about cash i am carrying....

I called CIC on friday to verify medical update info. Call center agent told me, it might take upto 90days to update medical result on ECAS.
I called them today again to double check this info. got the same answer.

its the standard answer they have ..like if we ask them about processing time they would say 18 months..

Hello Friends,

I am glad everyone is moving in their process. It has been now month and half since I moved from US and settled in Canada , City Brampton now. I am actually thinking to buy a house here . If anyone is interested in renting a nice 2 BR apartment please let me know I still have 9-10 months lease left. Rent is $1325 and address is 6 silver maple court. Lease is transferable.

there is no way out from this bro..we have to wait ..
its my observation..(i could be wrong) that the process takes around 5 months if you get MR early you have to wait for PPR ..so if you have the MR within 3-4 months then you have to wait for PPR for 1-2 months..
that's my guess..rest no one know the ways CPCO works..so keep tight and hang in there you never know you get a surprise tomorrow as it's tuesday..!!

It really is a mystery on how the processing times on any of this works. There is another person in this forum (named Imp23) who had the same application date and same MR email date as me. He went immediately and got his ME done, got the eCAS medical update, PPR and has already landed. His processed very fast it seems. Some applications are processed fast & some take longer. We had the same program assistant also so who knows?

I couldn't do my ME right away as I had to take leave from work and travel 350 miles (563 KM) to the nearest panel physician to get it done. Had to stay overnight at a hotel, etc. We got MR email on 06/02, our ME done on 06/19 and didn't get the TLU in eCAS until 7/20. Now today marks 4 weeks since the TLU and I haven't heard anything. Maybe because I took too long getting to the ME. I'm just hoping that "Medical Results Received" in eCAS means all is OK with that part of it. I did have to submit my wife's PCC as her wasn't available when I had sent the initial application (only mine was). Maybe that is what is taking time to process.

ya guys ..you never know how things work..i just got my wife's PCC delivered today to CPCO..
atleast i am relieved that now everything is with CPCO and where i have waited for 5 months for MR ..i can surely be patient for a couple more for PPR..lol

Hi......I paid my RPRF today.....my sincere advice to pay it only online. Scan and email them the receipt and also print out and send receipt to your case officer.

What is the interval between medical uploaded and ECAS now. Seems eveything is getting slow down again.
BTW, when is ECAS updated usually? daytime or during night
