Who was the person whose passport was received on Jan 13 and got activation yesterday?

No one from this forum and no one from the PhD stream forum whose passports were received after Jan 12 has got activation yet

CEC, PHD or whatever are different from FSW timeline at cpc-ottwa for visa printing. They are not same. In CEC case it takes 2-3 weeks to have status as DM after they receive the passport.

In FSW case, DM status get updated in 15 mins or at the most 1 day online. kumar2k1 is 13th jan case , Cheers everyone will get PP in couple of days

Perhaps they work in batches. They have lot of passports already in hand for visa printing. New PPRs email may get delayed due to this.

I have a confusion now .. I did not send my expired passport I only sent my new passport .. will this be a problem ? although they did not mail me for this .. I sent my pp on 13th and it was received on 14th .. I sent a canada post label also but its not activated yet ..

Now im starting having tension .. (

Why did you send two passports ( a valid one and an expired one)? This may delay the issuance of your visas for sure. Please read the ready for visa email carefully, they clearly indicated: We need a VALID passport, they never asked for expired passports.

My passports reached CPC on the 12th. I did not send a prepaid shipping label from Canada Post along with my passports because I couldn't purchase it using my U.S. credit card. Yesterday (21st), I received an email from CPC saying that my passports are ready to be shipped but they wanted to confirm my address because they will have to send them back by regular mail. They asked me if I can send them a prepaid shipping label. I told them the problem with prepaid label and they replied with the options to have someone (relative or friend) in Canada purchase the label for me or they can send the passports to someone (relative or friend) who lives in Canada and that someone can send the passports to my U.S. address.

I could finally find a relative to purchase the prepaid label from Canada Post. I attached the prepaid label to the email from CPC per their instructions. Now, I have a tracking number. I hope this helps.

I was asked to send proof of funds for my family on 5th Dec. 2014 and I sent it on the 12th of Jan. 2015.

My ecas still shows in-process with just one line.

Please, anything to note for the medicals?
