Dear All,

Have you any idea how long it takes to obtain the Medical results.
If you mean request for MR sent by the embassy, none knows, but seems they are moving with applications, if you mean how long it takes for the results to be updated on CIC system, it takes about 2 weeks from the day the hospital sends the results.


Also, what about the Police certificate? where from, documents required ? how long it takes for the results?, do the applicant need to receive in person? does it need to be translated?
You go with your ID to the policy station where your address in ID is, you get it the next working day for 15 LE, and yes translate it. You should get it in person.

Those who did not hear from Visa office, please do not panic, it is a matter of time as the VO is probably processing the files in the order he receives them.

They used to be active but not anymore.
A big number of December 2014 are experiencing the same delay.
They seem to be completely freezing the processing of our files since receiving our medical results.
I've been waiting for for the PPR around 90 days, and have friends waiting for around 150 days as well.

I sent 'check status' email on Thursday but they didn't reply

I am sorry for being late to update my friends with the latest news, it was tough period of time and I hope that everything shall be fine ان شاء الله
first, I have reached to the step of the MR
after the update of the bank statement, and they called (by phone) all my previous employers starting from 10 years ago (I don't know why?)
then they are asking for more documents which I have to prepare ان شاء الله
sorry again for being late for the update and I wish the best for everyone

they called them after bank statement and before MR
the questions mainly about your position and the working period
yes they asked for RPRF
the documents are the police certificates (Egypt and from outside) and filling an application (schedule A)

Yes I can confirm that I received nothing... Last was the Change in ecas... The TLU and then change in the dates of the line

Background check... Very surprising and seemingly very random? Was there something in particular in the employment history that may have been unclear? Many different positions for example?
