Hi Bro, I think you didn't see this change only because your mailing address and home address are the same and maybe that's the reason its not a well known step in the processing of the files as not all the applicants supply different addresses, still the only confusing/to worry about thing is why did some applicants get this ECAS change after receiving the MR by few months??? my only explanation is that there is some difference in the processing steps between the VOs

based on our assumptions and conclusions it all points to August & Sep(hopefully it's true )
I wish we hear something from CVO in August

I don't think it is really a system update. I personally believe they started to work on our applications and enter the data mentioned in our files in the system. The case of Abdallah is different than ours' because he have the mailing and home address the same, so they could have a flag in the system not to show it in case both are the same.

So, as your PER is in June and for us it is Aug, you should be the first to hear from them ... soon inshaa Allah.

Yes I got my PER email on 13th June, 2014 and not August, so 15 months since I submitted my application and almost 14 months since I got my PER.
In general I am patient person, but I believe really that Canada tested all my patient, waiting without any date is really difficult to handle

Based on the below email I got from CPC-Ottawa in March 2015, I believe all files has been transferred to Cairo VO in May, 2015. Insha Allah we should have news this month or maximum next month at least I hope so...

Interesting, my file transferred to Cairo VO in Sept 2014 as clearly indicated in my GCMS.
Anyways, what you mentioned means your file got transferred before Mar 2015 "Your application has been transferred " and they asked you to give 2 months (it is now 5 months since Mar 2015), so inshaa Allah we will hear something during this month ...

I think maybe my file also was was transferred to Cairo VO in the last few months as when I used to call CIC they would usually inform me that my file is in CPC-O, but few days ago I called them and they confirmed its in Cairo VO and they have no access to it

CIC agent used to tell me that my file is in CPC-Ottawa when I called them after my file transferred to Cairo VO in Sep 2014 -I knew this from GCMS- so I told CIC agent: "are you sure my file is in Ottawa?", then they said let me double check then he said sorry it is Cairo VO, this happened to me couple of times.

The only way to ensure this is to order GCMS.

Today we celebrate 3 months since Cairo VO (I would call it Embaba VO not Cairo VO) sent us the email that they will start working on our files in "few weeks".

my CSQ just issued on 23-07-2015 but i didn't receive it yet in Alexandria

but while i scan the application i found one apps is for travelling trips and here i stopped coz i went to india be4 for 4 month and 15 day
i only afraid if i informed them about that .they ask me about pcc (very difficult to get it from embassy) but i think i must write it

For the PCC, I know that you shouldn't submit PCC for any country if you spend less than 6 months, so you should be OK.

I confirm what Abdallah said there is no need to submit PCC for countries you spend in it less than 6 months, which was the case for myself and my wife. Good Luck
