Thanks Almohager, so seems it is only a system update.
If you look at the details of some of the people (timeline below their names) involved in these discussions around ECAS address updates, you will notice that after the ECAS address changed, with around 2-4 weeks, an update happened to their files. Have a second look and let me know if what I figured out quickly is correct or not.

Ironically enough, to make the puzzle hard to solve, my mailing address didn't change, nor my home address added ??? so some had this change and others didn't ...

also there is once case where an applicant got this change after receiving his MR
its really not clear

Don't want to be too optimistic eh? Well, we have nothing but waiting on our hands... So, let's just hope that we will actually here something by mid-August

I used to have only the mailing address since I checked last time which was last week, and yes my mailing and home address are different.
Is your mailing address which you mentioned on the envelop is different than the home address you mentioned in the application?

I am hypothesizing that the PER:13-06-2014 written under your name is actually 13-08-2014, otherwise, the mid-August we are waiting for might not come the way we would like it...

No they are the same .. but it should appear twice ..

For some reason, being here having kind of discussion with you guys , reminded me when I was doing my military service and was having similar kind of discussions while having nothing to do except waiting to finish our service period.

this guy got the same address change thing on the 27th of June and got his MR on the 24th of July
this guy is bringing hope back into me
however in the same thread there are other guys who already did their medicals earlier this year and got this change in the last few days
it's somehow confusing but i think its positive.

If we combine what you mentioned below with:
- As we said before about getting some news in Aug based on GCMS dates I shared earlier.
- The earlier analysis I mentioned about other cases (not all cases, still not few) who got "a prgress" in their files after updating ECAS addresses.

I conclude there is "a link" between updating the addresses and moving on with the files ....

Hi Bro, I think you didn't see this change only because your mailing address and home address are the same and maybe that's the reason its not a well known step in the processing of the files as not all the applicants supply different addresses, still the only confusing/to worry about thing is why did some applicants get this ECAS change after receiving the MR by few months??? my only explanation is that there is some difference in the processing steps between the VOs

based on our assumptions and conclusions it all points to August & Sep(hopefully it's true )
I wish we hear something from CVO in August

Hi Guys,

Yes I got my PER email on 13th June, 2014 and not August, so 15 months since I submitted my application and almost 14 months since I got my PER.
In general I am patient person, but I believe really that Canada tested all my patient, waiting without any date is really difficult to handle
