Bro, i know someone here in the forum as well. He's also an SGVO, 2nd July applicant. He had lost his hopes for the PER. He then raised an email inquiry to CIC on 2nd Nov. He just got a reply recently 24th Dec. Normal response time from CIC is at 45-50days.

Much to his surprise, content in the response email says his application has been forwarded to SGVO and in processing. That only means he may have missed his PER email, or the email may have probably lost its way.

So i suggest you can raised an email inquiry for your file as well. Just follow steps below.

Pls send an inquiry via mail to CIC using the email below with the subject line titled "FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER"
cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca

Hi gouda,

He used a DD, so he never had the chance to come to know of his app status. Even the bank don't have an accurate answer for him. He just patiently waited. Til he got his reply from CIC of his email.

Have you tried to send an email already? Just keep the faith and prayers can move mountains. I too had sent previously on 4th nov. But til now haven't received the response from them. I believe their in holiday mood as of now. Patience is the key to all these.

Whats your timeline brother?

All the best

I already sent mail since 3rd Dec

Happy New Year All.

Glad to finally find a thread relevant to Aug 2014 FSW. I had applied to the FSW programme under NOC 1111 and mailed my application to CIC Sydney from London, they received the package on 12/08/2014 as per the Royal Mail tracking service.

I am yet to receive any form of communication from them re: my application.

Does anyone know how I can get hold of someone at CIC Sydney (e.g. A Call Centre or a response team) over the phone so that I can find out what's happening? I think it's quite unusual as it's well over 4 months now. I have emailed them anyway.

Fingers crossed, hopefully this journey will be successfully completed in 2015 :).

Got my UCI after calling CIO. The lady who attended the call was kind enough to give me my UCI #.

Hi SBI - May I ask which number you used for contacting the CIO? I can't find one online.

call your bank first to know if your DD has been cashed..if it has been cashed then just relax PER will come but if it has not been cashed then its best to send a mail to syndey to know what went wrong.
