I dispatched to CIC on 2014 August 2nd week.
Received UCI no. 2014 Dec 1st week.
CIC online shows "In Process".

Please tell me what is "PER".
What is expected next?

Hi,

Yes, the email you received with the UCI no. on Dec 1st week was called your PER - "Positive Eligibility Review".
It's the term used in this forum for having passed the initial stage. Expect your Medical Request thereafter which solely depends on you local VO.

Can you share your timeline, NOC, and VO.

All the best ;)

8th August applicant...NOC-1114... Dd encashed 21st November...no PER

@Shahnur....keep calm..your PER will drop son and if you have your UCI number just check your ECAS and am sure you will see IN PROCESS.My DD was cashed the same date as yours 21st Nov 2014 but i only got PER on the 14th Jan 2015..i am 27th August applicant...i think CIC don't work the way we assume.

Today i received my application back defined as incomplete. Reason given i do not have minimum experience of 1 year in the noc i chosen for application. I have been working under chosen noc for 6 years. Can i appeal against this decision or nothing can be done?

Friends,

Help information on below.

1) How long does PCC takes?
2) Going with the trend (of 50-60 days for MR), I may expect MR by first week of Feb. Is it OK apply for PCC now?
3) Once got request for medical & PCC, how much time will I have to submit these?

Thanks a ton in advance!!!!

PCC depends on which country. My time lines are similar to yours.
NOC: 2171
VO: Ottawa
Appl Received: 19th Aug
PER: 8th Dec
No 2nd line update or MR yet.

PCC from USA takes 5-6 weeks which is also called FBI Clearance. From China it takes a week or so if done in person. From Indian Embassy [USA], it takes 4-5 weeks to get the PCC. Hope this helps.
