KSA good info. My application was submitted on 27 August. I guess in that case either the CC has already been charged or will be charged shortly. Is this info as per the people, who are submitting their info here in this forum?

no,it simply means CIC has started transferring your file to your Local VO.
The background checks will be done AFTER the file reaches local VO

When it will reach local VO. is it 5 days after PER or 10days. Pls tell I want to send one detail to VO. if I send my file should be there already. otherwise wat they will do only with addendum data, may be they send back.

I got the PER on 1st of December, 2014.

I would like to know the percentage of success in this immigration. As I have another immigration process with Australia, and I need to know whether I have to stop it or not.

I called up CIC and got UCI number for my file. But, when I entered my information against the UCI number, I am seeing the below page description. Can any one please explain me the meaning of this.

"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:

At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);

I just went through the posts for Sep 14 and Oct 14 applicants and am slowly getting the butterflies in my stomach. The applications for September and October have been charged and further processing is starting. However, no update for my application sent on 26 August.

Are there many people from August 2014, who have still not been charged?

Hi there, I assume you asked for your UCI number from CIC prior to receiving your PER? You'd only see a status in ECAS after you receive your PER-- after the IO finished reviewing your whole application / documents. Please check ECAS after receiving your PER email.

Hi there,

Once you received your PER, the chances of being granted a visa is really high, provided there would be no problems with your medical and documents (authenticity, accuracy/ completeness). This may not be the absolute case all the time, but based on data (Global SS), you would rarely (almost none) see people granted PER that weren't awarded visa in the end.
