Thank you dear for the information, keep us updatedzaidka said:Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
Based feedback from people in this forum, they don't seem to process applications in batches. Just a few days ago psbguy received PPR.
mj.sb, I contacted them by email. They're usually slow so they may answer eventually.
Thank you dear Mona, hope this waiting will come to an end one day. How long dose it take your iraqi friend to get ppr?mona.awwad said:Hey guys,
I feel all of you who are still waiting for PPR...I remember how painful the wait was
But for those of you who said you're from Iraq, I just wanted to write this to reassure you things will eventually be fine...it seems that the 'Iraq' part makes the security stage a little longer but it doesn't mean bad news.
I have a friend from Iraq who had to wait for a longer while between MR and PPR than I waited, but it's just a longer wait and not a more complicated process....you will receive PPR soon...don't worry...and they take into consideration that the visa should be valid one year after the medicals....so they won't take as long as you imagine....just hang in there and think of your future home, Canada
Good luck to all and best wishes
Honestly, the friend I was referring to did not submit her application in 2014...so she was on the old system. She waited more than 10 months between MR and PPR; but I'm sure your files are different because you guys applied after May 1, 2014; which was the start of the faster system; so, don't take her time as an indication, it's just that her wait was longer than those who applied with her, am guessing that's due to security reasons; but she got it eventually.mj.sb said:Thank you dear Mona, hope this waiting will come to an end one day. Did you submit your passport for visa stamping to Bucharest VO or Amman VO?
Thank you so much dear you are very helpfulmona.awwad said:Honestly, the friend I was referring to did not submit her application in 2014...so she was on the old system. As for my passport, I was instructed to submit it to the Visa Application Center (VAC) here in Amman. The center does the whole process: it sends the passport to the Canadian Embassy in Amman, gets the Visa stamped, and returns it back to the center; I received it from the same center (VAC) after 5 working days from submitting it. It was a very quick and easy process.
Good luck again.... best wishes
Its explaining the stages they finished and the ones they didnt , the first one obviously is the eligibility assessment which u have passed since they asked for medical and pcc , the criminality is related to the pcc ,HIRV is the human international rights violations related to or part of the final security check , so overall i guess they r still working on it and it seems to me its gonna take a little of a while to get the ppr, this ismy personal thoughts though , good luck , hoping to hear good news from u soonmj.sb said:Dear members, I received my CAIPS notes file today, was wondering if you could help me understand it
This was written in one of the pages
ASSESMENTS
Eligibility: passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: passed
Org crime:
Medical: passed
Misrepresentation:
Other reqs:
Final:
Also the due date under "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT " is 2015/06/30
not sure what this exactly means. Should I also look in other entries in the file?
Many thanks in advance and best regards
So do you think I'm at the final stage of the security check? Do you have any idea of how long it could take more?mishati said:Its explaining the stages they finished and the ones they didnt , the first one obviously is the eligibility assessment which u have passed since they asked for medical and pcc , the criminality is related to the pcc ,HIRV is the human international rights violations related to or part of the final security check , so overall i guess they r still working on it and it seems to me its gonna take a little of a while to get the ppr, this ismy personal thoughts though , good luck , hoping to hear good news from u soon
well with bucharest vo there is no preset rules , and its difficult to predict dates, now u got the due date 30/6/2015 i guess its like a reminder date for the officer so if nothing is required for the initial stage he will start the next stage which is in ur case the decision stage , look more in ur papers if u see things like DIS or RFV ?? Those two means ul get the ppr very soonmj.sb said:So do you think I'm at the final stage of the security check? Do you have any idea of how long it could take more?

Thank you so much in advance
Thank you dear so much for the help, I should look in the Caips notes? Do you have any idea if the case status in my Caips notes is on the date we submeted the request or on the date they issued the response?mishati said:well with bucharest vo there is no preset rules , and its difficult to predict dates, now u got the due date 30/6/2015 i guess its like a reminder date for the officer so if nothing is required for the initial stage he will start the next stage which is in ur case the decision stage , look more in ur papers if u see things like DIS or RFV ?? No updates here as well. Many Quebec applicants from Moldova and Romania have been receiving medical requests last weeks up until now. You have already done your med exam so shouldn't be a long wait for you until the passport requests, but for those of us that aren't in process yet I guess it's another couple of months wait (or more) until they finish processing the Quebec applications they have already picked up. :-Xmj.sb said:Another silent Tuesday, any news from your side?
