Hello friends...

My application was received by CIC in September 2014. Got PER on the 6th January 2015. My VO is Pretoria.
My ECAS still saying In Process and the detail is saying '' We received your application for PR on the 17th 09 2014. No update...nothing then after.

Is this normal??? Any advice?

I know somebody shared the cover letter for sending MR/RPRF/PCC to NDVO, but not able to find the same. If anybody have that please share ASAP.

Do not worry . All passports are stamped at NDVO only. Its just that Jalandhar and chandigarh VFS route it via canadian counsel office at chandigarh. Only one extra day gets wasted in the process. I too had submitted mine at chandigarh and received same sms , but on checking online status it shows under processing at NDVO.

always bucharest office send the rprf with the AOR

usually the ecas is updated after 2 days of getting medical at bucharest BUT in my case it was updated on same day!!!!

all the best to you , from your timline i guess you will get yours by 1-2 weeks max ...

dont forget to give me a plus once you get it

Congrats on your PER. This is normal.

PER is issued by CIO and paralelly line 1 is updated.
Now CIO will forward you file to Local Visa Office and once they start processing you will see Line 2. Give it 60-90 days.
