i am 8th may applicant, got PER on 13th Aug (LVO) and 2nd line update at ECAS states 'started processing application on 7th Jan"
However, nothing as of yet and i am still wondering how much more time will they take to finalize my case and ask for medicals.

is anyone experiencing the same kind of a delay like me?

Yes.. Unfortunately.. I am 20th may applicant.. NDVO.. 2nd line updated 30th oct.. nothing till now and waiting.. Any may applicants still to receive MR?

And yes it is one time entry visa " IMMIGRANT" Category ..

It is valid till one year from the date they received my medicals ..

I sent the passport through VFS but had opted to deliver it to me .. So I picked it up myself by visiting their Courier Partner (Bluedart in India)


I hope I have asked all the answers asked till now

Vir - what is your NOC? Also check your spam....and if you have an agent then follow it up with them.

I am also a may 20th applicant and my MR mail was sent to the wrong mail id. It was sent on Oct 27. I was able to get it just in time before the expiry of the stipulated time. I got my medicals and PCC, RPRF before the deadline. My FBI PCC got delayed.

MR received on 28 feb.... and i have to deposit both Medical & fee by end of this month

1) can anyone pls suggest what amount i have to deposit for me & my spouse ?
2) does medical call means 100% visa assurance ?
3) whats's the best mode of payment ( online transfer/DD ) ?
4) both Medical & fee has to be sent to Visa office or CIC ?

Usually it takes a week or 10 days.

I haven't received back passports too. VFS online status says following.

Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxx – Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 05/03/2015 vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website.

I guess Holiday on 6/March has delayed the shipment. But how can we check status through courier partner website as I don't have a tracking ID as well as courier name with me. VFS call centre too is closed till Monday.

I can understand ur situation and here it is the solution: email on info.canada@vfshelpline.com with your VFS tracking number....they will send u bluedart tracking details immediately.....

Hi Seniors,
I received my PER on 13th feb (NOC 0111) and currently residing in pune, India. In the interim, I already got myself issued the PCC from Police secretariat for me and my wife (it took one month though). I have been told that I will have to route the PCC via PSK and that the one issued from Pune Police is not valid PCC. The address on our passports are different to that of pune hence can one of you please guide me on this so that I could re initiate the PCC if needed. Thanks in advance.
