Hi All ,

Got back my passport and COPR .

So finally the day is here when I have my passport with the Beautiful Canadian Visa stamped on it .

I thank you all for all the support you have given me on this forum

If one has to resubmit the background form to visa office then what is the procedure,
1) Should he download the latest version of the form from the site and fill it or he needs to send the same version that he used while submitting it first time.
2) Is sending the form electronically through CAS link is enough or he is also required to post the hard copy as well.
3) In case sending it electronically through CAS link is enough, what to do about fields that can't be filled electronically like signature.

2. U can do ...Inn that case take a scanned copy and then upload....
3. Remember its alws better to courier such type of forms to visa office...(If ur Visa officer askk for any updated form via CSE/email- that will be a different case.)

after holi they will be in full spirits showering MR's for all those who are waiting....

Hi NDVO guys are you seeing in pattern in issuing if DM/PPR from NDVO.
I have seen friends who got MR in Jan getting PPR (which is a good thing) but friends who got MR in Nov/Dec still waiting.
Any thoughts .....

But in site it shows that "Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) $490 or INR26,700 ( INR 53400 for two) " Is it fine that we can mention $490 and pay online ?

Yes thats fine.
What you pay online is CAD and it's basis the daily market rate. (CAD490x2)

When you pay a draft, the VO has kept the fee fixed in INR hence the variation.

If paying through credit card then $490 is fine. But if you are paying through DD in INR then 53400 has to be paid.

Guys,

i am 8th may applicant, got PER on 13th Aug (LVO) and 2nd line update at ECAS states 'started processing application on 7th Jan"
However, nothing as of yet and i am still wondering how much more time will they take to finalize my case and ask for medicals.

is anyone experiencing the same kind of a delay like me?
