Gsw - I would disagree with you on this one. American citizens also require a PR to settle in Canada unless they are dual citizens. They can move to canada for short periods of time without a visa but will need to apply for PR to settle permanently in Canada.

I might sound funny here. Have you seen How I Met Your Mother series. Robin shabauskey or what ever her last name is, a Canadian Citizen, was living all the time in USA.

I guess the similar thing applies to USA citizens going to Canada.

I am a 23rd Dec Applicant and my CC got charged on 18th Feb 2015, now waiting for my PER mail.
issue is I missed mentioning my EMAIL ID on the generic form.

How can I now update this info to the CIC. I tried calling their call center but they say I have to call after 2-3 weeks as it is quite early for them to answer.

They also have sent one link that says Case Specific Enquiry and have asked me to fill up there, Can I do that, will that help ? though on that page its not written anywhere to update email address.

Please advise guys.

What is your Visa Office.

Yeah it will be best to raise a CSE and letting your VO know about your mail id you will like to receive all the email communication...

In your timeline, you show NDVO.
Then why did the PPR request come from NY Visa Office ?
