MR & RPRF RECEIVED....

Second line update on eCAS ---> MR mail = 19 days

My consultant had received my MR & RPRF from NDVO on 28-Feb-2015 and forwarded it to me today.

Email had the following:
1. 3 medical forms (for Self, Spouse and Kid)
2. PCC Request
3. Two CIIP related brochures
4. URL Links to pay RPRF

30 days given to complete this process.

Just got my request for medicals and police clearance.
Wanted to share this good news with u all.

But my question is ...I am staying in Mississauga as a student and I am originally from India. Now the cic people have asked me to provide them with PCC -original from india. How do i do that????

For LOCAL RESIDENT requests :
For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.
For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

FOR Non-Resident Requests :
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

I have just analyzed against my NOC 0113 that from PER to MR it took 2 months.......but I have not yet recd. my MR. Its already been 2 months......

Please advise....I m restless.....

Don't go completely by statistics. For some people the wait is longer depending on a number of factors.

Hi,

Im facing a similar situation. My VO is NDVO but I live in South Africa so I did my research and based on advice from seniors I have requested NDVO if I can get my visa stamping done at the Canadian Embassy in South Africa. I raised a CSE and have also sent a letter along with my the documents submitted during medicals.
As far as I know for some applicants they agree and for some they say they must come over to India when you receive your PPR. So I would say its worth a try and if it works you dont have to travel all the way from U.S, instead can get it stamped there itself.

I have just sent my request to get visa stamped in SA instead of NDVO along with meds and waiting for 3rd line update.

Hope this helps. Other please correct me if I'm wrong!

Thank you so much Prasanna. I'll do the medicals here first and get RPRF done. Then once the 3rd line is updated will try that. Since I don't want to delay anything.

I might sound funny here. Have you seen How I Met Your Mother series. Robin shabauskey or what ever her last name is, a Canadian Citizen, was living all the time in USA.

I guess the similar thing applies to USA citizens going to Canada.

anyone on the forum who has applied for more than 2 extension for submitting PCC?? I think my US PCC lost in mail an I have to apply for third extension.

Pls. advise if there is any way to confirm that NDVO has actually received PCCs sent by Courier (apart from courier company saying so).
I sent FBI PCC and its getting on my nerves.

Yup yaar...facing parents again and again...i am fighting with myself...today i come to know...how mind fights with heart...

Mind says go..for this u struggled ..GO TO CANADA.

Heart says...Parents will be alone here...Dont go..Yaha kya kami hai...u have evrything . even more that what require to live a good life...
