Can anyone share their experience with Abu Dhabi Visa office ? ... How long do they take for applications processing ?

This office has been enabled with FSW processing to relieve LVO of excessive operational pressures just recently in 2015. Their processing routines are region-specific and somewhat dependant on Immigration Program Managers on site. On that note, I wouldn't expect much as most of the applicants would be on the Z-list and consequently be subject to most comprehensive security check.

Applicants of May are still pending.. June and July started.. I am also waiting for PPR and after analyzing data of 2014 and previous year here I am trying to give answers of question in this regard

In my opinion there is some logic through which they are picking up the application, which of-course we do not know. Applicants are absolutely right that some of the July applicants received their PPR and some are still waiting for their MR... but I have a doubt

Why they are taking time between PER to MR ..
I think coz this the stage where the background check of your employer , degrees , certification will be follow,, now the scenario depends on the employer response in terms of telephonic or email discussions... Then checking of degree validity and originality is also not an easy task in India, so may be this process will delay applicant file processing also.. Suppose I have Degree of Delhi University and some one have Degree of Bihar University ,, so checking up Delhi university degree is easy and fast process compare to Bihar Degree.....

Subsequently after MR to PPR stage Visa Office check Criminal background and security issues,, same theorem applies here also as criminality check for different countries may take time compare to the one country PCC only... or Criminality security check is easy for applicants residing in MUMBAI rather then Jhansi...

So this may be the point of delay....

[size=20pt] GUYS IM BACK!! After weeks of depression because of my refusal letter 20 days ago, I am finally back. I just want to share this experience to everybody who got a refusal letter or NER (instead of PER) and think that the refusal is unfair. I tried calming myself first, weighed all the points that CIC did not consider, and tried to put everything in an EMAIL or Fax it to CIO..Just be brief and concise..and SEND IT..wait patiently and still if there is no response after a week..Consult a Barrister Lawyer, the one who handles Judicial Review Case against Unfair CIC decisions...Present your case for Judicial Review because you have 15-60 day after you receive the refusal to contest the decision of any Visa Officer... The downside is the lawyers fee is 250$/hr...so I presented my case to this lawyer and even him was infuriated because I got 75 point total instead of 65 as per CIO refusal letter..So he prepared a letter stating all the facts and points and have me signed and attached all the supporting documents and sent it to the address found in my refusal letter... One clause I remember is "I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK A JUDICIAL REVIEW IF NO ANSWER WILL BE RECEIVED FROM CIO".. The thing is He did not even charge me for that day and were chatting 2 hours about the case. He didn't charge me because he felt my depression as well and he is convinced that CIO messed up things for me..So just the other day...I received an email with a POSITIVE ELEGIBILTY REVIEW..now I am waiting for my medical...JUne 18 Applicant here...CC charged October 7.... Hope this helps..

Can you please tell me in brief what the lawyer did exactly. He appealed or just sent a legal letter to CIC.
As I discussed my issue with lawyers everyone is saying that I could appeal the decision in court. normally have 60 days to appeal a decision from outside of Canada, The cost to appeal can be between $3000 and $6000, depending on whether I settle out of court or have a hearing

MR & RPRF RECEIVED....

Feeling relieved... 8) 8) 8) 8)

Second line update on eCAS ---> MR mail = 19 days

My consultant had received my MR & RPRF from NDVO on 28-Feb-2015 and forwarded it to me today.

Email had the following:
1. 3 medical forms (for Self, Spouse and Kid)
2. PCC Request
3. Two CIIP related brochures
4. URL Links to pay RPRF

30 days given to complete this process.
