I did MR on 22nd Jan 2015 - ECAS got 3rd line update on 27th Jan 2015.
Awaiting PPR.


Now along with MR, I had received request for:
1. FBI PCC
2. Updated Schedule A form showing my USA stay details (beyond 10 years)
3. Medical completion proof
4. RPRF Receipt

Now, I've courier the above requested documents to NDVO address they mentioned - it was a PO BOX address.

So now, how do I know my documents 1, 2 and 4 have been received correctly? The courier tracking just says "delivered" because it was P O Box.

I immediately sent email too knowing that I will get reply around 1 months later - if at all I do get a reply.

So my question is - HOW DO I KNOW MY DOCUMENTS 1, 2 and 4 HAVE BEEN RECEIVED? DUE DATES WERE MARCH 6th, etc.

Did u get any contact from VO?...Any background check/ telephonic, physical visit, etc....Have u completed Medicals for Canada immigration within the past year? Is there any problem with ur docs submitted- anything the VO mite have assessed incorrectly or not given u points for (as a result of which ur points tally falls below 67)?

Without Medicals, I'm sorry to say this could be bad news.....hope for the best but prepare for a rejection buddy..they will provide u a procedural fairness letter at least and giv u a chance to appeal..the rest is in God's hands...u need to w8 for VO to contact...

Also what is the processing time for super visa for parents...

For any visa if you crossing border of usa and Canada it is not considered as crossing border hence the time is calculated for both country stay and for tourist visa its 6 months max only. So if your parents had both country tourist visa then also he cannot reside for more than six month.

Try for super visa only.

I am ABC (Date of birth: XYZ), an applicant for Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) 2014. My application's ID is #### (UCI: ### and Payment Receipt ####). This letter is supplied along with new Schedule A – Background Declaration form to explain a correction that I have made in the form Schedule A - Background Declaration.

While filling form Schedule A, I unintentionally overlooked part of question 6 (d) below:
Q-6. (d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program ) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

Recently, I have realized that I have answered this question incorrectly and that I am supposed to include details of ANY kind of visa refusals by any country. I realized that I should have ticked YES in question 6 (d) and provided details of my XYZ visa refusals. I have been refused visitor visa once by ##### consulate in ####.

EXPLAIN REASON FOR REFUSAL HERE.

I sincerely apologize for the mistake I made and I would like to genuinely convey that this wasn't intentional suppression of facts. Kindly requesting you to use the new Schedule A form for performing background checks on my application. I wish to add that, in February this year, #### consulate overturned their decision and issued me with a #### visa (a copy of visa is enclosed).

After realizing my mistake, I decide to act quickly to ensure the error gets corrected. Thus, I am sending you a new duly signed Schedule A - Background Declaration form. I am still living at same address (with my wife) at which I was living when I submitted my application and still working for same employer on same position therefore only difference between the form Schedule A I sent initially with my application and the new one I have enclosed is change of my response to question 6 (d). All other information on the form is unchanged.

All other documents in my file, including my wife's (secondary applicant) Schedule A – Background Declaration remains unchanged. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your time and effort for processing my FSWP application.

Hi vish.777, While I appreciate your concerns and thank you for your interesting analysis in predicting MR,PPR and keeping the momentum going in the forum.

My understanding is you need have minimum of 20 posts before you can have a detailed profile info. However I understand most of us (Newbies) have updated SS under the same user name.

When seniors are helping with the correct solutions and for me I don't want to share any wrong info, as any wrong move can result in crashing someone's dream.

Being said that, most of the questions are repeated without being searched in this forum. This forum is like a FSW Immigration bible. Every possible questions are already answered.

Let's not generalise and blame the Newbies.

Do we need to show the exact amount as POF as shown in the application or the required POF.
I m planning to carry 5000$ APPROX whereas reqd POF is more. So shud i carry reqd POF or only the amount i feel is reqd for me ??

Many a times the amount is not checked, but for few applicants they have been asked to provide proof for settlement funds upon landing. So better to carry required funds Simar.

Hi Guys, I got married on 06/12/14 and sent RPRF on 15/2/14, without disclosing that I got married.

Now, I have all the paperwork, got maintenance funds to show and am willing to add my spouse's file along with me (Lucky that I am still waiting for PPR) . . . . My question is:

1.) To speed up process, is it possible to send her medical results in advance . . . . . i.e. I get medical results sorted out early and send them

2.) secondly, approximately how long, will I need to wait to get PPR for both of us from hereon . . . .

I am a 2011 applicant. Got Medical Request in November 2014 and just got my Visa this month to Gods glory. However, I have a situation at hand. My Nigerian passport will expire in November and my visa will also expire in the same month. I am planning on travelling in September. Based on your wealth of experience in this house, can someone advise if anyone has had that kind of experience before? Is it still possible for me to renew the passport before travelling in September now that the Visa has been issued on the almost expiring passport?

Please help.

OMG Not really sure but a decision without a MR or any fee and document request (if pending) sounds scary.
